Burn Butcher Burn and the story of Catalina Cain originally appeared in two different forms: The Rest Of Us Just Are, a short story-type fic from a defunct zine and The Necromancer's Ballad, which appeared on various Discords throughout the year. Sorry if you liked this, because it's changed a good bit! But at least it's longer now? And yes, that is a Witcher reference. And yes, I am mad that they replaced Henry Cavill. “My honest opinion,” said Eddie, taking his shirt off to let Hen look at him. Buck looked at his back while Hen looked at the scrape on his collarbone and chest. “is that whatever you’ll do will make it worse. Also that I just want to work my shift. I’m not mortally wounded. It’s fine.”
“You keep saying it’s fine, and it’s really not,” said Buck. “Yeah, fuck me, someone beat my boyfriend up and I want to get to the bottom of that.” He walked away.
