There’s leather straps over the edge of the table, and a sheet covering the tools on the side table. I can guess whatever's coming isn’t going to feel good, and considering there isn’t any machine in this room I think the only exam I’m going to get is physical and un-anesthetized.
Elise appears next to me and I don’t know how long she’s been standing there but she giggles and takes my hand before skipping to the exam table faster than I would’ve dragged my feet.
I’m thinking about what’s probably going to happen, it’s not looking good. Realistically? My heads gonna be bald when I walk out- if I walk out of here on my own two feet- and I’m going to have a new refined definition of the word torture.
So far my #1is regrowing my eyes, a pretty strong contender all things considered. And! Your brain can’t feel pain! So besides cutting through my skull with what is starting to look like a bone saw, it won't hurt too much.
