Fandom Interview with the Vampire (TV 2022)
14 Feb 2026
Summary
Any piece in this series will likely be able to function as a stand-alone, but most are also designed to form continuity. Cue a bunch of adorable holiday and other adjacent scenarios with our favorite (ex-)Talamasca boys, some with artwork and some not! Presently, the ones that include artwork are “Speaking of Dust” and “My Bloody Valentine.” This series will always be marked as finished because additions will be casual and intermittent, etc.

Summary
The first story in this series, “History Is a Series of Fires,” can be read as a stand-alone. However, there will eventually be a second story in this series, as “History” will be ending with a number of unresolved emotional threads—just as those same events in canon, as of the end of S2, do not attain full resolution. The second story in this series will be set present-day and bring the events of Dubai into consideration (and yes, Real Rashid will play a significant part in that, as anyone who tends to follow any of my present-day stories about Sam Barclay already knows).

Fables to Explain Time’s Passing by irisbleufic
Fandom Interview with the Vampire (TV 2022)
14 Aug 2025
Summary
The first story in this series, “Trade the Game You Know for Shelter,” can be read as a stand-alone. All of the pieces thereafter continue from the moment that first story leaves off and serve a broader plot that I’m in the process of building. Currently, the timeline covered across the existing stories is 4 September 1973 - 11 January 1974, but I have plans to take this series at least as far forward as 1980 in its internal timeline.

Summary
The first and third stories, “Triage” and “Darkroom,” can be read independently of each other and the rest of the series as stand-alones (but it’s worth mentioning that “Triage” does nonetheless contain events relevant to a smaller plot thread near the end of “Darkroom”). Similarly, the second piece, “The Talk.” can be read as a stand-alone. If you wish to read the last handful of pieces in this series, please note that you'll need to have read everything from “Darkroom” forward. Continuity matters quite a bit, as some of the stories pick up the moment after the previous ones end.
