First person POV Fitz, because it feels wrong to write him any other way. It alternates later, he’s the only one in first person, I promise. This started off as excuse to do a POV outsider of Merlin, and write about magic, and has snowballed.

Vasily furrowed his brows for a moment as he took it in, trying to study the design under the layers of dirt and water damage. It seemed to be some sort of old, pre-war flower picture, complete with a half smudged common name sprawled prettily along the top. His eyes returned to Lovell, somewhat confused by his sheer enthusiasm. Sure, it was a cool find, but Lovell had found old physical garden photos a few times in the past, none of which brought this much enthusiasm. It made his curiosity churn, pushing him to lean forward, subconsciously growing more engaged.
"A photo?" The guess seemed to open some sort of floodgates between Lovell's mind and mouth, as the ginger immediately devolved into rambles.
