It seems every C-rank mission team 7 takes is destined to go horribly wrong, especially one that has been deliberately mis-ranked and sent their way. Whoever planned that could never have expected this outcome, though.
Takes place in an altered universe where Kakashi is a more dedicated teacher and Sakura's parents really don't understand ninja. Events take place between the Wave mission and Chunin exams, and before the battle for Kannabi bridge. Somehow, an unknown party managed to get a recon mission to Iwa listed as a C-rank and assigned to team 7.
