Growing up in Vryllic was just like growing up anywhere else. The potions man came by every Sunday morning with dozens of potions to choose from for various purposes, the farmer on 53rd street sold faerie fruit by the dozen, and the school house kids ran up and down the streets searching for mushrooms for their kitchen magics courses. Everything was exactly as it should be. Music played in the town center, faeries, goblins, and humans alike dance in circles until the sun breached the sky, and all is well. Ordilia and her best friend run up and down hills causing mischief and banter within the town. One day, it all fell apart. The gaurds violently pried her best friend from her arms as she screamed at them until her voice is horse, begging to know what was happening, begging for the chance to say goodbye. 10 years later, she is sent away from her home to the palace to guard the prince and is confronted with a face she never thought she would see again, a face she would not allow herself to forget.

During the shoot for Snapback, Tyler learns he has the power of a Bishop: by connecting with the prop antlers he can move things without touching them, and, more importantly, he can seize. Take total command of another person's body, place his consciousness in their mind. What starts as an innocent yet guilt-inducing play with supernatural abilities sends him into moral panic tailspin over using this new power whilst keeping it a secret. Add it to the stress of filming and then touring, and he runs the risk of running himself into the ground. Of giving over, finally, to the nastier side of his need for control.
At least, that's how Tyler sees it.
