Hellboy stood up from the table when the meeting ended, gathering up the notes handed his way. Descriptions of the creatures, ugly little monsters from the sketches on the page, stared back at him when he glanced down. All teeth and claws, about the size of his stone hand. Faeries, in some sort of way, ones that would sooner kill than help.
Not a problem until they decided to move into a human city and try to take over. Not a problem until they moved in and tried to feed the children in the area. Not a problem until they’d been discovered doing that, someone panicked, and there was suddenly a rash of deaths and dismembered corpses.
He hated that sort of problem.

Hellboy and his team need help with a new case. The case requires someone who has been on the field with a creature who’s more adapt to cold and icy weather conditions. So everyone is shocked when the new specialist they sent is to help is Myers, all the way back from Antarctica. Or at least… Hellboy is since no one bothered to tell him since he was the one who sent him off.
The creature they are dealing with is similar to stuff John has been studying in Antarctica.
So everyone is expecting myers to come back as an icicle in a parka but is shocked when he comes back looking like a badass longer hair, scars, and is that a tattoo? hellboy is shocked by the transformation feeling guilty that it was cause of him myers changed so much.

I scroll Stack Overflow boredly, taking note of the back and forth from the chopper where Abraham questions Johann’s ability to cope probably more than would be diplomatic, and they discuss this Temple of New Mysteries or whatever, and man am I glad I’m not there. I’m really glad I’m not there when the whir of the chopper stops so abruptly I’m checking my headset, and then there’s the commotion that precedes a hard landing. I’m yelling at Sapien who’s yelling at Roger, entirely ignoring me, before the transmission cuts off entirely.

A lost child with no name, no parents, and nowhere else to go. He rolled the idea around in his head a moment before sighing, cursing himself.
“How long has it been since you’ve eaten?”
The girl shrugged, “A few days.”
“A few days,” Nuada repeated in disbelief, not sure if he was angry at the mother for abandoning her child, angry at himself for not being able to just take the girl to the surface and leave her there, or relieved that he had discovered her hungry instead of discovering her corpse.
So, knowing that he would be kicking himself for it later, Nuada made an executive discussion.
“Come along.” He took her hand and stood up. “Come with me.”
“Where are we going?”
“I’m going to get you some food, and then you are going to rest.” He informed her sternly. “hold my hand tightly, don’t wander off.”
