This work can be read in isolation, but the context is better explained if you have already read my other work, entitled "Behind the Occlumency." (Nothing like a bit of self promo!) I've tried to add narrative to explain events that relate to "Behind the Occlumency", but may have missed a few.
When I wrote "Behind the Occlumency" I left this bit out as it would have made the story too long.
This story begins immediately after the battle of Hogwarts and deals with the anxiety of separation suffered by Draco and Hermione.
The characters are not mine. They belong to JK Rowling.
The story is headcanon and I make no apologies for my adaptation of the characters and how they may deviate from the originals. This is fanfic after all!
I write for fun and have no Beta.
