Yeah so I legit was actually sobbed to this. Beautiful beautiful story of grief and living and it made me feel so many things in such a short amount of time due to my binge reading I just can’t. Like I literally can’t. 13/10 I sob so so pathetically this was just such a gut wrenching fic that you can tell had so much love and care put into it. This deserves a place in everyone’s hearts forever

It’s something of Ender’s, and Ranboo says that if he was given a few rotations he could probably crack it, but there’s an equal chance that they don’t have a few rotations.

Her shop, Hayes Android Repair & Salvage, sits on the edge of Detroit’s industrial sprawl, taking in obsolete units, illegal mods, and machines everyone else has already written off. She doesn’t ask many questions-until she pulls a barely functioning android out of a dumpster and realizes he’s one of eight prototypes from the long-discontinued SKZ line.
Built to be too adaptive, too emotional, too human, the SKZ androids were quietly scattered once CyberLife decided they were a liability. Willow finds them one by one, each damaged in ways that go far beyond faulty parts, and repairs them anyway. In the process, her shop becomes something more than a workplace and Willow finds herself at the center of a bond she never intended to form.
CyberLife buried its mistake.

Gavin might be an android too, but he hated them. They have no idea what it means to be alive.
