On the Sofia base, Odysseus was standing over a table, looking at a series of maps. "Hmm...It seems like things are already starting to become quite chaotic. Hopefully Lady Athena will return soon, so we can prepare on how to best handle this war between Cipactli and Tiamat."
The Greek Hero looked up however, when he heard the door to the room open. He stood up when he saw the three figures who had entered.
One was a slender young woman, wearing an angelic outfit, consisting of a long white dress with some white details. She had very bright pink eyes, and has hair that was a faded white and pink color, that had been tied in a large bun. She wore what appeared to be two large circular earrings and an accessory consisting of four white feathers that point upwards, starting from her ears.
She was the Valkyrie known as Radgridr.
The other was a black and white dog, who was looking up at the Greek Hero, with it’s head tilted in a questioning manner.
The last figure, was a young man. He was wearing a heavy full-length winter coat with a hood, gloves, and a pair of lappish boots. A Mosin–Nagant rifle hung from his shoulder. His face was mostly covered by a woolen gaiter, leaving only his eyes exposed.
When he spoke, it was in a calm, quiet tone. "The mission has been completed."
Odysseus nodded. "Good. It will be some time before our Lady returns. Until then, rest and make sure you are healed. I know we will be needing your skills, in the battles that are to come."
There was a flash of pain in the man’s dark eyes upon hearing that. However, he simply nodded before replying: "Understood." He then left, his Valkyrie at his side.
Odysseus let out a sigh. He did regret that they had to ask the man for his help. Especially given his history. But, for now, they still needed him.
For he was Simo Häyhä. The White Death. The Greatest Sniper in Human History. And in this world, he was someone that possessed both the skills and power, to kill even the Gods.
