Summary

Summary
This is the first case that Crystal has brought to them of her own volition, even if Paul was waiting for them already. And since Edwin is trying to turn a new leaf, he agrees to listen to Paul's case. It's doubtful that there will be anything unique about it. He does feel slightly bad that it'll likely be bumped to the bottom of the priority list, but it's best that Crystal learn how these things work now.
Then Paul says, "My partner, Alex Burgess, has been cursed."
Ah.
Well, Edwin can admit—to himself, if to no one else—that he can, on rare occasion, be wrong.
