Tony Stark started drinking when he was fifteen. He never did think about slowing down, after high school he spent his time partying. He found a reason to drink for everything, especially when his parents died in a car accident at nineteen. Soon enough he meets Claire, who drinks just as much as he does. Claire ends up pregnant and together they get sober for their child. Once Emma is born they're doing well for the first six months. Then Tony's left home with Emma while Claire is out drinking.
It's a rocky relationship until Tony finally leaves. He raises Emma alone, with some support from his best friends Pepper and Rhodey he's giving his daughter the life he never had. But there's one obstacle that Tony faces, he's still an alcoholic and while he's staying sober for his daughter he falls off the wagon. Now Emma is ten years old and Tony is trying to stay sober, easier said than done when Claire keeps coming back.

Dean gets a call from a social worker, informing him that his 4-year-old son is being held in foster care. Apparently, he left Cassie Robinson with a little parting gift in the Season 1 episode Route 666. Yeah, you know the scene… *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* Cassie has since died, leaving behind no family, aside from her son and her disabled mother.
Not only has Dean’s entire world been thrown by the fact that Cassie never contacted him, he finds out that his kid is autistic--whatever that's supposed to mean. Dean knows squat about autism, but family is family, so he’s all in. Luckily, Sam is an awesome brother and is on board with helping out.
Now to find normal jobs and a normal home for an autistic preschooler whose entire world has just been turned upside down. Wasn’t “normal” supposed to look different than whatever the hell this is?
