With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
As Draco returns for his fifth year, he does so carrying a heavy secret. Both his mother and father agree that keeping his symptoms secret is the best way to move forward- though with the aftermath of Cedric Diggory’s death and the return of the Dark Lord, their minds are elsewhere. On the surface, Draco presents himself as a perfect Malfoy- cool, calm and completely in control. He’s a prefect. He’s the seeker. Nothing bothers him.
Though he thinks little of the Umbridge woman, she favours him. He is liked and admired. No matter how painful it gets, he’s got to do this. Responsibility and expectations are being built on him, both in and outside of Hogwarts.
Although I have used the events of the “Order of the Phoenix” as a guide, I do not plan to stick to them fully, and some events and characters have been added/omitted.

Luka cannot understand why.
He glares, but the baby doesn't seem to understand his ire, simply staring up at him with eyes like his, wide and curious. The baby giggles, much to his confusion, smiling up at him despite the obvious dislike he is trying to convey to the little thing, and something odd stirs in his chest, warm like he'd swallowed a miniature sun.
His expression softens a little.
Perhaps he can understand, if only a little, why Hyuna seems to like them so much.
After escaping with Hyuna and unwillingly joining the rebellion, Luka learns to be human.

Summary
The Coastal Laboratory for Abnormal Wildlife Studies has found themselves in possession of a live, captive, and dangerous siren—something previously unheard of in the scientific community. Doc, one of their top researchers, is assigned leadership of the study on Specimen 9201223, later nicknamed ‘Martyn’.
Over the course of the project’s run, he and the siren develop an intense rivalry that eventually mellows into a far more complex relationship, as Doc discovers that Martyn is far more human than they’d initially assumed.
Unfortunately, the rest of the organization does not have the siren’s best interests at heart. As Doc grows closer to Martyn, he finds himself forced into increasingly-risky decisions in the name of protecting him, trying to prove his humanity to people who only see a monster.

Summary
This is a compilation of all the pieces that take place within my Over-City/Under-City AU, which is also a Hot Guy/Cute Guy Superhero AU, though that's not the only thing that'll be going on! I plan to keep this series in chronological order, so I'll put all the pieces where they'd fall along the timeline, which may sometimes not line up with the publishing date. The exception to this is 'Pretty Boy' which, IF someone does want to read the whole series in order, I'd want them to have read that one first and then all the rest, so 'Pretty Boy' will always be the first fic in the line-up, but after that you could read chronologically or just bounce around as you please! I've written all of these to mostly stand-alone, so you shouldn't be too terribly confused no matter where you decide to start up!
