Summary
(Based on the Japanese versions of both Yu-Gi-Oh! and Tokyo Mew Mew. Rewrite of a much older fic of mine.) Deep Blue has been defeated and things are slowly returning to normal in Tokyo aside from errant Chimera Animas still needing to be taken care of. Ichigo has even picked up a new hobby in the form of Duel Monsters. Everything will be fine from now on, right?
Then Ichigo suddenly awakens an unknown spirit inside her pendant and begins having memory blackouts whenever she or her loved ones and friends are in danger. As questions about the spirit’s origins and the impact the Cyniclons had on Earth pile up, new enemies emerge alongside old ones that threaten to once again put the innocent in harms way. All the while, the whole team begins to confront the reality of their situation and the effects of what was thought to have been the final battle.
