  1. Summary

The premise is that just as the creatures of the Supernatural world are becoming extinct, and fewer demons are finding their way upstairs, a critical mass of civilians, starting with law enforcement officers, elected officials, and the FBI, have learned about the Supernatural community and the Hunters who kept them in check for hundreds of years-as well as saved this world and others.

The first story is an introduction.

  2. Summary

Poems and short stories that relate to my love of fantasy and speculative fiction. Some have connections to specific fandoms but I feel that "Original Works" is a better home for them. I also know few people will read them, but I like thinking that they are now set in amber and will outlive me.

  4. Summary

Talismen have been known by many names. In recent decades, they were called the Resistance, the Underground, the Partisans, the Maquis, the Auxiliaries, guerillas, etc. In this, the Golden Age of Hunters, they are called the Talismen. Officially, or unofficially, they have been helping the warrior/hunter class for thousands of years, particularly during times of war and oppression.

Although the Talismen are well-known outside of North America, the Hunter community in the US mostly has embraced a different path, more the teenage–we like to suffer alone and in silence and misery so we can pretend we do it all–road, without the assistance of good people who are grateful and have wicked skills and resources to share.

They are never mentioned in the series canon is because of John Winchester's stubborn insistence, with which he infects his sons, that the Winchesters stay the Lone Eagle Hunters, relying on themselves mostly. He only partners on occasion with like-minded Hunters, who he reliably ticks off and drives away.

The stories in this series are not always about the formal Talismen community but definitely about those lovely folk who helped our boys on their journeys, asking for nothing in return.

Inspired by the works of William Butler Yeats (1865–1939) and other favorite poets and authors.

This is where I pay homage to classic influences and inspirations: stories, poems, myths, and collections of works.

    Summary

Castiel doesn’t know where the runaway in Dean has gone, but he’s not sure that man exists anymore. The omega in his backseat has been badly broken. He hasn’t said a word to Castiel; hasn’t protested aside from flinching, hasn’t even pleaded to be spared. He’s just… empty. Tired. Castiel can smell layers of fear, sour and old on the omega’s skin, an emotion so often felt that it’s now a permanent stain on his scent. He can only begin to imagine what Dean has been through to put him in this state of apathy.

At sixteen years old, Dean Winchester signed away his life in order to protect what he loves most. He's spent the last eleven years as the property of various alphas, each crueler than the last. Purchased by a new master that promises him nothing but safety, his life is about to dramatically change - and with any luck, it will be for the better.

    Summary

At thirty-six, Dean Winchester is the Captain of Lawrence Fire Station 24 — respected, decorated, and trusted with lives when everything is burning down. He runs his crew with precision, authority, and gallows humor, the kind of man you want beside you when the smoke gets thick. He has the house. The career. The scars to prove he earned both.

What he doesn’t have is anyone waiting for him when the sirens go quiet.

Dean tries to explain why Castiel doesn’t fit into his life — too quiet, too gentle, too different from anyone he’s ever dated.

Sam, who’s heard every version of this argument before, gently points out the truth Dean keeps avoiding: maybe the problem isn’t Castiel’s differences — maybe it’s that Dean has spent his whole life choosing what’s safe instead of what he actually needs.

And maybe what he needs is someone entirely unfamiliar… even if that scares him.

"You've been dating the same type of person your whole life, and where has it gotten you? Alone in a house that's too quiet. You always go for what's easy, what's familiar. But maybe what you need isn't easy. Maybe what you need is different. Maybe what you need is a nerdy beekeeper who talks about feelings."

    Summary

Castiel Novak—known to the world as Dmitri Krushnic, son of the Russian Prime Minister—has lived his life under glass. Cameras, guards, expectations—every moment watched. When threats rise against his father’s political reign, he becomes a target, and the solution is simple: hire protection.

Enter Dean Winchester—quiet, composed, and far too observant. A man with military precision and secrets buried deep beneath his calm exterior. Because Dean isn’t there to protect Castiel. He’s there to destroy him.

But somewhere between bulletproof cars and midnight escapes, between whispered confessions and the press of hands that should never touch, the lines blur.

There’s only one problem—Castiel doesn’t speak English, Dean doesn’t speak Russian, and somehow they still manage to fall in love. Afterall, how do you kill the one person who makes you feel alive?
