Everyone knows how the story goes. A magicless teenager gets transported into a magic academy in a world twisted from Disney classics and gets roped into being the designated therapist by the plot. But what if, said teenager wasn't really magicless? What if they were a psych student? Maybe they're not really a teenager anymore and was dropped in a magic university instead?
That is exactly what happened to Esther. She was just going home after finishing her internship when she was transported to another dimension where magic is somehow real and magical creatures exist. Now she has to find a way to go home, or else she's never going to get her degree. The worst part is she somehow ends up in a uni filled with only boys, she just knows that will drag her into trouble. But at the same time, she finds herself an opportunity she never would have found had she not arrived at Night Raven College. Maybe things won't be too bad for her here afterall.

On the other side of town, the Hwang residence is a diorama of this town’s typical next door neighbor: this dollhouse features a one-story ranch-style house, a mom and dad, an older brother and younger sister. Grayson is a graduating senior in high school, while Lacy is finishing up her sophomore year.

She practices acrobatics to keep herself honed for exploring her city's rooftops and abandoned buildings by night. She pickpockets just about every noble who enters the palace doors. She has a pervasive habit of poking her nose into things she shouldn't.
And then her father, Kinger, decides to marry her off to a stranger: the heir of a neighboring country. It happens with absolutely zero warning, and he avoids giving Pomni a straight answer. He seems almost afraid to.
