“Could’ve been worse.” Shouta said like he didn’t have the top half of his jumpsuit wasn’t undone and around his hips, his shirt wasn’t half falling off one of the kitchen chairs, and he wasn’t putting butterfly bandages over a slice in his side that may or may not actually need stitches by the light of the lamp over the kitchen sink. He glanced up long enough to check that Hizashi wasn’t injured and got back to it. “What about you?”
“Could’ve been worse.” Hizashi huffed, trying not to laugh at the absolutely normal absurdity of the situation.

The majority of this fic takes place in Jaemin's apartment which doubles as Spider Man's unofficial med ward. The secret identity is out almost immediately, but really all it does is bring a safe haven to him. All of the action is only referenced through injuries and the majority of the story is the growing relationship between Mark and Jaemin. The story is set in New York, but stays fairly light on external world building. Sexy times are sensually written, and the characters are both weirdo nerds who suit eachother.

Despite her spark and the fact that she can throw kick-ass fireballs, Stiles knows that the second the pack finds out she's hurt, they'll descend on her like a pack of wolves (yes, she's very happy with that joke). It’s not that Ellie means to stalk the couple she catches lurking in the shadows at 1 in the morning after sneaking out of her dorm because sitting in the room alone was making it hard to breathe, but fellow curfew-breakers can hardly expect privacy. All’s fair in love and rule-breaking or whatever their English teacher said in one of the rare classes when they were learning something not related to FEDRA policy.
And there’s something in the way the man holds his hand out to help pull the woman up over a crumbled brick wall that she just can’t look away from.
There’s a gentleness there despite his size and obvious strength that makes her breath catch for just a second. It’s too far for her to hear what they’re saying, but the woman says something with a little half-smile and presses her hand to the man’s shoulder, and the casual affection of the gesture fills her with a nameless want.
So, trailing them at a distance it is.
(AU in which Ellie follows Joel and Tess around and meets them with no Fireflies involved)

Yuta tries to stay calm as he catches the dangerous sound of fibrous snapping beneath rushing footsteps. The wood in here is rotting and moldy. It really isn’t the best idea to fend off a Grade 1 so close to a ledge. Yuta’s just perpetually anxious though. It’s probably fine…
Or not. There’s a crunch, raspy “don’t move,” then a loud thud of something person-sized falling a good height and landing flat on its back.
Yuta doesn’t look before he comes out swinging. He only knows he’s aimed correctly until he feels his katana meet temporary resistance, which dissolves as the curse meets its demise, turning to dust at his feet. Luckily, Toge stopped the thing right about where he expected.
Unlucky, looks like it shoved him into the loft’s railing before he did. The corner where it turns into a banister for the fractured staircase is now a gap, with chunks of old cedar splintering off.
