Like, I can envision a world, one in which HR isn’t so much about queer joy and love and unambiguous happy endings, where Ilya and Shane exist exactly as they are here, troubled and tortured and jagged at the edges, where all they see in each other is the very worst of themselves
It feels like the kind of story that's doomed to end in tragedy, but that’s never made it not worth telling
