      This is. How did I never come across this majestic master piece before? I fucking love it through the summary alone. While it's heartbreaking that this hasn't been updated in a over a year, it's worth the read. This is wonderful crack <3

       

      Within just a few sentences it became one of my top favs. I keep the top league for the more serious/long/tropes I adore (time travel, shifters, etc) with the rare addition of some gold crack fics, we shall see if this researches that level. For now it's more than just the normal favs

      Some of the interns are in the corner drawing a demon summoning circle with a marker with Stark's face on it. They were also burning what looks like hair and nail clippings and Natasha never wanted to forget anything more in her entire life.

      There was a motherfucking shrine in the middle of the engineering workshop with everything under the sun that had to do with Anthony Edward Stark. There was even a bedsheet with what looks like dried sperm. The pictures were as if the entire department was remotely stalking Stark. They found a picture of him at his time of birth, umbilical cord still attached.

      If she was a weaker woman and in denial, she would say she's creeped out. As it stands, she's much stronger than that and she was self-aware enough to know that she's simply terrified of the R.&D. people.

      They hailed Tony fucking Stark as their omnipotent god. That's all she needs to know to stay the fuck away from the cult.

      Be as it may, Natasha was simply sick at the mention of Stark. Even Clint, her ever-dependable partner, was wagging his metaphorical tail like an excited puppy at the mention of the billionaire.

      A very...... Odd. And distressing. And unusual. Fic. But it's also.... Interesting? And it's definitely.. unique

      Lucifer’s books have different scents. Michael enjoys sniffing them before choosing one to sit with. Lucifer sends him many weird looks but doesn’t stop him, switching between phone calls and typing on his laptop.

      Chloe pauses as her foot knocks against something. The Tupperware. It survived its fall.

      Like Lucifer.

      Lucifer is like her soup.

      Chloe snorts.

      “Don’t worry about that,” Lucifer says, “I’m sure Michael will love it.”

      Saint Michael is going to eat her soup.

      It’s not even homemade. It’s from a can. Two cans. She’s giving an archangel canned soup.

      Chloe manages to wait until the elevator closes before the laughter bursts out.

      It never occurred to Amenadiel what else made Aurum and Iudex. Why Mother’s hand was essential.

      The last vestiges of Samael bury in his arm, shouting for Iudex—for Mikael. A piece of the Demiurge, echoes of the Beginning. When love was unconditional, when two were one.

      Weapons speak in blood. If Amenadiel does not take Aurum as well, Aurum will shed more. Samael will not be parted from Mikael.

      (On Earth, Michael says, “I’ll never leave you.”

      But he already has. He will again.

      Lucifer buries his nails into Michael’s arms. He doesn’t know what else to do.)

      Amenadiel is gone by the time his siblings rush into the armory. In his hand, Aurum quiets.

      (Lucifer's lungs heave.

      "I'm with you," Michael whispers, "I'm with you.")

      When Amenadiel hands it over, Michael draws Iudex and stares.

      And stares.

      Meanwhile, Lucifer is cradling a dangerous weapon like a baby and sobbing.

      "What's happening?" Gabriel stage-whispers.

      Amenadiel can only shrug. He'd hoped for a bit...more from this. Has it been too long since the twins have wielded their weapons? No, that can't be it. Amenadiel is certain he can pick up his own spear without issue.

      Then again, Iudex and Aurum are different from the rest.

      Michael drops the sheathe and lays Iudex over his palm. He cups it as if he's about to present it to a knight. "Iudex," he says with certainty, "I know you."

      Black drips from his eyes. Iudex absorbs it.

      "I am content," Michael tells it, "Father blessed me with happiness."

      Gabriel smothers a gasp.

      Dean knows Cas as his Guardian Angel, even if his 5 yo self doesn't quite understand how... Unique this is. And the meaning of it.
      Cas still has the appearance of Jimmy, he's uncertain why but it feels like an echo to him (from the canon timeline prob)
      Cas isn't allowed in Heaven anymore

       

      Mhm so here Dean wasn't involved, things still somewhat followed canon, but Samuel survived.

       

      Kerry (psychic) can sense Cas. She felt he wasn't there when Dean asked him to watch over Mary for the hunt

      Doggo (not dog. Since I got spoiled from wanting to read people's thought for the first chapter, and people can't use logic and comment regarding the entire fic at the last chapter, I know it's Gabe) saves Dean from a demon. He's.. 7 yo here.
      He's a Corgi, now named Ringo.

      10 yo Dean says Yes to Cas, so he can save him from drowning. They just had an argument not long ago about why Cas won't take a vessel to prove he's real (Cas' exile makes it so he's basically dying a slow death, taking a vessel would make that death faster)
      Cas feels that he wasn't the first Angel in Dean? (Later we understand it was the wards he sensed)

      They're warded from Angels (I think by Gabe) unless Cas is near them he can't sense them. Cas got exiled for his rebellion, attempting to help Dean during the night if the fire.

       

      Dean's bi awakening at 14. Doesn't go too well.

       

      Fuck Christian. You monster.

      And so Cas finally takes on a vessel. (But fuck damn the loses, the deaths, the trauma)

      This is that fic! That I remembered thinking about a while back. With Dean being like. Brought back and made from several different things. He ain't human but he's also not a specific creature either?
      Damn sucks that it's unfinished as the concept is awesome, which shows as I remembered the fic and knew it was this the moment I came across it again

       

      Btw Dean 'died' when he was 22 (well he did die, a werewolf literally ripped his heart out. But he was brought back)
      Was brought back by Dyani. Usually the transition takes a few days to settle, but with Dean it took two weeks

      Aight list of most of what Dean is. As I prob missed shit;
      * Silver iris & pupil, looking dead and blind, can shimmer. He got payment from Ma’at, allowing him to see the true form of whatever he's looking at. I think only his left eye is blessed with this.
      * His heart and other organs that were damaged were replaced
      * His skin stitched together where it was possible, and patched (with other skin/stuff from different monsters and creatures) where it couldn't. The silver stitches shimmer and are obviously magical.
      * Dean needed.. a remedy/potion/medicine to protect his new chunks of flesh, as going Frankenstein ain't a quick fix
      * Has three braids, heavy with rune engraved beads dangling in front of his right ear

      * Has a lot of cool magic obviously. Makes spells. A real professional, and masters a lot of this cool ass shit. He's a powerful badass.
      * Made it so his shop reacts to him to defend him, it's semi sentient

    The door opens to the Cage to release Lucifer, except there's nothing in there. Only confetti and a trickster who's not really a trickster and has a hell of a story to tell. One that involves the love of a big brother willing to do anything to protect his little brother and keep him safe. Even if that means tearing him from his Grace and making him human in order to free him from Hell.

    Even if that means tearing his own Grace out to become human with him.

    With new memories pouring in fast, Dean and Sam are in a race to figure out who really flipped the switch on the apocalypse and how to stop it, pretending they're vessels when they're really just missing their Graces, and, oh yeah, trying to find their brotherhood that they both had a hand in ripping apart.

    That last one might not be the easiest, but it could mean the difference for who they are now, and who they used to be.

      Sent to Hell early? Or somehow the Hell memories crack him? Might be after sent to Hell again. Need help to anchor himself back in reality. Mary/John/Sam go in his subconscious to help? Memories-Dean helping them because he doesn't want his family to see the bad memories

      Huh, maybe this is actually the start of reality breaking apart for him. I thought it was when he got older, but hallucinations started, Hell leaking to irl for him. He knows it's not real, but he still sees and hears these things. Hides it from Cas and his parents
      Ye happens now, within less than a year of coming back to the past. And on the next hunt he actually told them, good

      Either Yalu's fic completely changed or they were inspired by a different fic and mixed it up (possible as this premise IS familiar to me from other time travel fics) but it's very much not like that fic. Which is a good thing, great even! Disliked Yalu's fic.
      As much as it sucks that this is unfinished, I know I prefer this fic. I mean I'm going to reread it cus I don't remember it well, but it literally has the Yes and Bookmarks tags, and I only use them on fics I like/like the premise of.
      But ye this very much doesn't play on a similar concept; this has the time travel through Chuck and Amara and has Dean waking up in his younger body. Yalu's fic is from what I understood time travel through Cas, before Amara was even released btw, and has double Deans which is always a negative for me. I don't like doubles

       

      Actually I'm no longer sure if the premise that was familiar to me is from other fics and not just from this one, though I swear there is another one that isn't this and is similar, yeah no there is. Something something Dean time destroyer amateur? Something like that

      Sending him back will put Amara back in the Mark (he'll have to release her again) and Chuck will be unavailable for a few years gaining strength, so he's basically gonna be on his own for a while

      Okay the more I read the more I swear it feels familiar to a fic yes, but very much not the one mentioned. I think it's the time destroyer amateur one, as it also involved Dean's soul being patched with grace (he technically became an Angel of sorts? Not really but yes)
