Bakugou whirls around with a scowl and a determined set of his jaw. “I’m not fucking breaking. I’m breaking us out. I have a—a plan.”
Intrigued, Shouto straightens further. Bakugou hops on to sit on his desk and kicks his chair to the side.
“C’mere,” he calls to Shouto.

Shouto’s eyes widen and he shakes his head. “No! No, no poison. Just…”
Frustration is beginning to eclipse Katsuki’s patience with his husband once more.
“Just what, Shouto?”
“I think it’s an aphrodisiac." Shouto blurts out the words in rapid succession. His cheeks turn even redder. Katsuki’s eyes widen.

Shouto’s eyes pass over Touya’s hiding spot, but the light is dim and the branches thick enough that he doesn’t see him. Touya continues to watch as Shouto closes his eyes, murmurs something too quiet to hear, then blows out the makeshift candle. He eats the cupcake slowly, tucks the wrapper into his pocket, then disappears back into the house, closing the sliding door behind him.
On Shouto’s twelfth birthday, he receives an unexpected gift. Eight years later, he shares a moment with his brother and returns the favor.
