The bartender adds a lime to his drink, and passes it over the bar-top. "What do you think?"
Shane obediently takes a sip. "Oh," he says. "Yeah, that's great. What is it?"
"Vodka, ginger beer, and lime." The bartender starts polishing a glass. "Called a Moscow Mule."
Shane almost chokes. The Russian asshole can't even let him order a drink in peace.
Shane walks away and leaves Ilya with a belly-button full of jizz, half a tuna melt, and a broken heart

"Holy shit!" Vic gasps, gaping at Ilya. "Holy shit," he repeats more slowly as realization dawns on him. "Shane Fucking Hollander is your Montreal girl?"
OR: Ilya's teammates go with him to visit Hollander at the hospital and a high-on-painkillers Shane can't keep his mouth shut. Ilya learns that when it comes down to it, ice is thicker than blood.
