Back in Mos Pelgo, Omega!Cobb finds himself in a stress induced heat. Alpha!Din offers to help him through it.Part 2: 'Break the silence (damn the dark, damn the light)' is set after S1E07 of 'The Book of Boba Fett'.
Alpha!Din sees (his) Omega!Cobb in the bakta tank and goes feral. They share the resulting rut.Part 3: 'Picture my face in your hands' is set in the near future after the events of Part 2.

Summary
A series of one-shots of Kirsh's early years before the start of Alien: Earth. Watch as he learns about the world around him to include the complex relationship between humans and synths and how his own relationship with his creator, Boy Kavalier, differs from others and yet holds the same intrinsic key element that all have. He is property. He is a machine. And he isn't free.
This series is likely to have no chance of plausibly fitting into canon once we find out more about Kirsh and Boy Kavalier's past. Or at the very least, particular one-shots are likely to not have any place even though within this series, each fic is meant to be connected and a slow progression leading up to the start of Alien: Earth. But until we learn more about their past, I'll have fun writing for these two fascinating characters and speculating on their complex relationship!

He rolled onto his back with his pistol raised before Din could even blink.
Then Cobb blew out a breath. “Stars above, Mando, you nearly had me there.” He shoved the blaster into his thigh holster and twisted the rest of his body to lie flat on his back before he’d get his feet under him.
Din helped him up the rest of the way, and didn’t budge as Cobb held on to give him a hug.

Dream’s breath catches. It’s quick, but Hob sees it.
“I think you liked coming apart in my hands,” Hob says, voice edged with challenge. “Tell me I’m wrong.”
Dream’s eyes flash with something too bright and too furious, a beautiful crack in that perfect, cold face of his.
