    Summary

The Vasentia were built to endure, to preserve, to remember, to outlast humanity itself. They back up their memories and restore themselves from death, unchanging across centuries. But every gap between backup and damage is lost forever. And you never know what you've lost until it's too late.

Eîra has lived alone in the ruins for over a thousand years, carrying something precious that no one else knows exists. When Sâel arrives to document the decay, their encounter is brief. Something happens. Something neither of them understands.

One of them will forget. One of them will remember. And neither will ever be the same.

A story about what we carry, what we lose, and the spaces between memory and truth.

When you can lose everything, what becomes worth keeping?

    Summary

Two anomalies seeking warmth before the end—body temperature is our only truth, and our only lie.

This is a story of inspection and being inspected, trust and betrayal, fear and desire.
Amidst relentless heat warnings and the looping TV bulletins about “Visitors,”
a lonely man meets a woman who appears without warning.
She is too perfect, too anomalous, too much like the existence all the warnings say should be expelled.
But when numbness has lasted too long, even fear becomes a luxury.
And so there is touch. Testing. A ritual of searching each other’s bodies for proof of humanity.
    Teeth, fingernails, pulse, temperature…
Every step of inspection brings one closer to the truth; every step closer breeds deeper entanglement.
Until you realize that some bonds, once formed, can never be severed—
whether they are love, parasitism, or the beginning of a new world.

Welcome to the night of Temperature Delirium.
Here, truth is the only symptom, and we are all complicit, sick unto death.

    Summary

Forty years after Neo-Zero rewrote the human blueprint, Dr Elijah Voss asks the question no one can afford to dodge: who does the future actually belong to?

Writing for The Posthuman Review, Voss dissects the Age of Neohumanity with a scalpel sharpened by political theory, economic reality, and moral unease. As cybernetic and genetic elites ascend into power, the old promises of equality crack under the weight of enhancement. What emerges is a world where utopia gleams for the augmented few, while a growing underclass is quietly rendered irrelevant.

Drawing on philosophy, contemporary scholarship, and historical parallels, this essay examines how Neohumans have fractured the social contract, reengineered capitalism, and transformed democracy into a hierarchy masquerading as progress. It is not a technophobic screed, nor a starry-eyed celebration; it is a warning shot.

This is a meditation on power, progress, and the uncomfortable truth that evolution, when monetised, rarely asks for consent. Read it if you want to understand the future. Read it if you want to argue with it. Read it before the choice it describes is made for you.

    Summary

In a world that is stuck in a limbo of decay and rebirth, two characters who meet through chance tread a ruined path, learning the truth about both the world they're living in and themselves. Is change possible? Can a better world really exist, and, if so, what would you sacrifice for it?

An increasing-stakes sci-fi action/found family story about love, identity and revolution - letting go of the past to fight for your future self.

Tags include spoilers, but there's something for everyone. Main inspirations are how Gundam handles politics along with Kipo's setting and character design. Illustrations and the occasional song recommendation for the chapter included. Will update often.

[Video Log – FILE: KE-0001 | Initiated at 15:43 Local Time, Caligo]
[Footage begins. A soft static whirring, faint mechanical clicks, and ambient room buzz.]
    [CAMERA ON.]
    Click.

A faint mechanical whirr. A slight stutter of static. Then, the feed kicks in—blurry at first, then clearer. The frame jitters with movement.
    “Is it on?”
    Tap. Tap.
“Did it work? Hello? Hellooo—oh! Oh, it’s working!”
A young, excited voice, tinged with mechanical undertones: subtle clicks and low shutter-whirrs riding beneath every syllable. The view swings wildly before settling on a dim interior—homey, metal-paneled walls, a low-hanging vine of bioluminescent Protector Root glowing faintly in the corner.
“Keph? Is everything alright?” his mother called from somewhere off-screen, her tone edged with worry—a sharp contrast to the sheer delight blooming in Keph’s chest.
He could feel the new system stirring to life within him.
    ---
Explore the whirring life of Caligo, the maze-like floors of Babel, noisy school halls, and unique holidays through the eyes of a young Shutterbug and his brand new IRIS system.

    Summary

For a Human-less Earth, the Mollusc Era is proceeding brightly. Yet, right as relations between the dominant Inkling and Octarian races are going well, visitors from beyond perform a not-so-smooth landing. Though these uninvited guests seem completely alien, the shocking truth becomes clear; that these aliens are, in fact... not so alien at all.

The past, future, flesh, metal clash as the New Squidbeak Splatoon piece together a story from the stars, defend against a celestial foe, and determine if there's still room in their world for Earth's long-lost children.

    Summary

Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann began his monumental novel ‘The Magic Mountain’ in 1913, but was forced to put the writing on hold from 1915 to 1919 before resuming and finally completing it in 1924. We, too, are obliged to pause work on our present novel - a frivolous parody of The Magic Mountain with far more subversive ambitions - due to other projects. Still in the early correction phase, the text lacks stylistic polish, and some parts will even have to be repositioned or deleted altogether. However, although it is far from finalised, the book already contains a number of scenes that are well advanced and have a lively entertainment value, which the lady reader may wish to enjoy. For this reason, we have decided to provide a modest insight into the current status of our endeavours here and to make some passages available ahead of time - also in the hope that one or two lady readers might feel like contributing to the maturation of the work with a few emendations.
