Summary
What if the Kidnap Fam went back in time and stopped the Silmarils from ever existing? What if the Ambarussar and the Peredhil twins met? What if they were the same age? (Spoiler alert, it's in the name). Good mix of hurt/comfort and fluff (loooooots of fluff).
Edit: Abandoned and available for adoption upon request. My opinions of the Feanorians complexified as I got older and I really don't have the patience and drive to rewrite the whole story. Oropher tilted his head with interest. 'Do you mean someone has done it before?'
Maedhros actually twitched and his admittedly very handsome face looked positively sheepish. 'Um. Yes. Me.'
'Ah, did it work then?'
'Er.. not really.'
'Oh?' Oropher nodded wisely wondering why Maedhros would repeat a mistake he had made before.
'And it is probably not …' Maedhros hesitated. 'Wise.'
Oropher nodded encouragingly. He liked the sound of that. 'My favourite.'
