So, when the lightning strike finally provided the impetus for Bobby to admit that he also brought a kid into their family, she had every intention of seizing the opportunity to properly integrate Buck into the Grant-Nash family.

"The F18 soared across the open water, a few thousand feet above the hard deck. Buck pushed the plane past Mach 1 and was rounding on Mach 1.5, enjoying the roar of the engine and the steady vibration of the plane under him. He loved the feeling of flying; the strange part of him felt grounded the higher he went, more connected to himself the more altitude he gained.
The F18 responded beautifully to his every touch, going faster or slower with barely more effort than a thought.
Buck had brought an old polaroid with him in the plane, the one his dad had given him when he went off to basic flight training. He’d taken a few pictures during his time in the Navy, mostly of Bradley or the sky. He loved being able to send polaroids home to his dads."

Dustin watches Eddie's face as everyone else giggles. He's retained his typical intimidating smirk for much of this encounter, but as Steve stumbles through his fictional seduction, Eddie's eyes soften. His smirk slowly turns to a small grin.
“Didn't Wizard Romeo and Juliet both die?” he asks, in that same low, grumbly voice he always loves to use for big scary bad guys. The effect is jarring.
“Well, yes, but… they loved each other first,” Steve says, oddly sincere. “I think love is worth the risk. Wouldn't you agree? And then, uh, I'm gonna take off my helmet and, like—” Steve tosses his hair, shaking it out dramatically and running a hand through it afterward to fix any wayward strands.
"Ew,” Mike says.
Nancy presses a hand over her mouth, but it does nothing to hide her smile. Usually, this is the point where Eddie would make them all roll initiative. Dustin has his D20 ready. But Eddie smiles. Eddie fucking smiles, and not in that maniacal way he does before siccing something horrific on them, he fucking beams, and says, "You're gonna scrape your neck on his mace doing that, just so you know."

Summary
After a serious head injury and laying in a coma for weeks, Keith Kogane finally wakes up and gets transferred to
Voltron rehabilitation center, where he can learn to walk, talk, and live a normal life again.Despite his exasperation at the beginning of his stay, his nurse, Shiro, keeps supporting him and helping him adjust to this new life. Keith meets other patients at the rehab center as well, one of them being the well-meaning but chaotic amnesiac Lance, who may seem a little weird at first, but soon turns into Keith's first and best friend at the facility, maybe even more.
Keith's recovery is surprisingly quick - almost way too quick. But he shouldn't worry about that, it's a good thing, right? He doesn't even think about it that much until one night, a surprise awaits him in form of his roommate, and he has to wonder if Voltron Rehabilitation Center has secrets that he isn't supposed to find out.
When he confronts the others about it, Pidge, Hunk, and the others just shake it off - everyone, but Lance.
