Kayden and Kartein are married, and the whole awakened world refers to them as Emperor and Empress due to their being one of the strongest awakened.
So far, as any awakened knew, no one succeeded in becoming a member of their ‘Royalty’ group. Indeed they have followers but not exactly members of their group. The two run the group independently, but will that change if they find a treasure?

What happens if the married couple bumps into an injured and lost kid on their way to destroy the suspected ‘evil’ organization?
Basically…
Jiwoo is their light. A light that shines continuously in the endless darkness of their lives as awakened people. Kayden, Kartein, and a few others would destroy anyone who extinguished that light.

Summary

And maybe Kayden should feel patronized, staring back at that pinched brow look Kartein usually reserves for Jiwoo after a fight, at those once-full lips that are now pressed in a thin line, but it makes him want to tell the truth.Or: Kayden has a nightmare. Kartein misunderstands, probably for the better.
