Art starts towards the door, but Patrick lurches to his feet before he can make his escape. One hand stays on his towel, keeps it dangling in front of his hips. The other grasps Art’s wrist tightly—to ensure that his slick skin doesn’t slip out of his hold—and yanks, pulling him back into the sauna while the heavy door slams shut again.
“No, you don’t get to leave, just like that. You don’t get to run away,” Patrick snaps.

“I didn’t, and we’re not,” Tashi glares, waiting for him to get it.
“Oh, that asshole,” it finally clicks.

The one miracle to come out of all this was Benoit Blanc. Jud had assumed the detective would solve this case and move onto the next one, vanish out of Jud’s life with the same abruptness as his arrival. And he did disappear, often and swiftly, with few niceties or goodbyes.
But then a few days later he’d suddenly reappear: be it at hearings where Jud would have otherwise had to battle the tedium of bureaucracy alone, or online, posting statements to cushion some particularly devastating blows against Jud in the media, Benoit Blanc kept cropping up when he was needed the most.

He gets it. He really fucking does. He's never knows if he's craving beautiful women or if he wants to put a little of their femininity on just to soften his edges. Nothing much. He wonders how his legs might look in a pair of stockings. If even just a hint of rouge or lipstick might...
It creeps in, the nerves. He can't call it shame, not really. He doesn't hate the curiosity in his chest. But he's not sure beauty is made for Hawkeye Pierce.

Mac's back in town after ten years, but when he hears about the hottest gay bar in the city, he really doesn't expect to run into all his super-straight, super-shitty, voted-least-likely-to-succeed friends, and he really doesn't think they'll be running the place.

“What’s a lightweight spacecraft like yours doing in the outer region of a star system like this?” he says. He looks sunny and he’s smiling. His skin has a healthy tan, which seems at odds with the amount of time he must spend under the artificial lights of his ship. “I’m Sokka.”

[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]

An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.
