Summary
“I don’t call you kid because I think you’re stupid. I don’t think you’re stupid. You’d know if I thought you were stupid, because I would tell you. ‘Kid’ is a…” He trails off, free hand tapping thoughtful rhythms on the steering wheel, “…Nickname. Term of endearment. Whatever you want to call it, but it’s not derogatory.”
Jack holds up a second finger.
“You have not been taking care of yourself. If you were, you wouldn’t have a low grade fever, and you would’ve called me as your boss or one of your friends to drive you instead of walking to work in the rain after your car died. You’ve been surviving. There’s a difference.”

Summary
Samira’s rage turns out to be a blessing. If she had been surprised by Dr. Jack Abbot’s defined back muscles and sculpted shoulders pulling his shirt over his head in any other headspace, she would have frozen. She would have turned pink and tripped over an excuse for barging in on him changing. But not today.
She leans an arm on the wall, effectively trapping her unsuspecting patient in. “What the fuck?”

Summary
When Trinity finds out it was Dennis that said the "q" word and cursed them all to today's chaos, she's definitely not going to want Dennis to continue to be her roommate, even if she wasn't trying to get rid of him already. As if being a first year resident isn't hard enough, Dennis finds himself stressed at the possibility of losing his first home in a long time, and despite his best efforts to be an adult about it, it's hard to find a moment for a conversation between the never ending slog of patients. At least Doctor Langdon can probably recommend movers - but who is Dennis kidding, he can't afford movers, and he doesn't have enough stuff to need them, even with what he's accumulated at Trinity's in 13 months.
Although really, he thinks, she should be grateful. She isn't stuck with Langdon on the morning nursing home arrivals anymore.Or
It seems like half the Pitt staff are moving at the same time, but if you don't deal with a haunting, it can follow you to your new home.
Meanwhile, there's been a ghost drifting through Pittsburgh ERs.

365 days ago, Frank Langdon’s life was a blur of frantic masks and hospital-grade survival. Now, it’s a quiet apartment, Triage duty on a short leash, and a relentless focus on the "can-dos." He’s a ghost in the Pitt, doing penance under Robby’s stony disappointment while he claws back the right to be a father to his kids.
Then comes Bea Galen.
A Behavioral Health resident with a gift for de-escalation, Bea doesn't see a "Golden Boy" who fell from grace; she sees the man who stays. As the rest of the crew spirals through their own disasters and unrequited pining, Frank has to decide if he’s ready to stop just counting days and start actually living them.
Recovery is a solo journey, but healing is a team effort.
