Yuuji sits on his haunches, back against the wall, chest imploding. The door beside him is slightly ajar, just enough for him to hear them speak.
"I want you back," Geto says.
It doesn't take him by surprise. He isn't a total idiot. He knows they have a past, he feels how the air changes when they both enter the same room. It's palpable, their connection. And Yuuji.. Well, he simply can't compete, can he? Not with Geto, the 6' 3 male model that's known Gojo for years.
"Geto, we've been over this.." Gojo says quietly, softly.
Geto scoffs, "Oh come on, don't tell me this is about him again. He's just a distraction for you, Satoru. Let the kid go, save him the heartbreak. We both know it's coming."
Yuuji doesn't wait to hear Gojo's response.

His first night away, back in his own bed, which felt so large and cold and didn’t even smell like tangerines except for the lingering scent on the clothes Mingyu was wearing, he had tossed and turned and eventually just accepted that the first night would just suck. But then the next couple of nights were the same. He never slept excessively well when on tour, but the two nights in Fukuoka had been exceedingly tortuous. He had laid awake, staring straight up at the ceiling, wondering what to do. Mad at himself for not taking action on any of the ideas he came up with, electing to suffer in silence instead, eyes going dry from lack of blinking. It’s not like he couldn’t have approached Seungkwan about it. Well, actually, he was pretty sure he could just approach Seungkwan about it, but the thought of doing so terrified him for some reason.
Mingyu can't sleep without Seungkwan but is too stubborn to ask for help so he suffers a little needlessly as he gets what he needs in a very roundabout way.

Without waiting to see if his warning was parsed, Seungkwan reeled his arm back, grip on the racquet's handle firm but not tight; a death grip would only be detrimental for his performance. With only a second of hesitation, Seungkwan followed through on a forehand swing—arm moving first, then wrist—chest puffing with the force behind it. There was the quiet sound of wind whipping through the air and then the simultaneous thud of carbon fibre strings against skin and the sharp 'ting' of hitting the sweet spot.
Mingyu cried out, breaths faltering in time with his tightened grip on the desk. Tense back muscles rippled as he braced himself and Seungkwan made sure to poke a few taps against his shoulders as a reminder to loosen up.
"Breathe, Mingyu-ah. It'll feel much better if you relax for me, okay?"
Seungkwan’s experience from badminton is useful for more than just sports.

“Exactly!” He stabbed the air with his fork, frustrated and flushed. "He's orchestrating this whole scheme to win everyone over while I look like an ungrateful idiot.”
“Seungkwan,” Seokmin said carefully, leaning back in his chair as he gave Seungkwan a pitying look. “He’s not stealing your promotion.”
Seungkwan opened his mouth to argue, but was silenced by what the other man said next.
“He’s stealing your heart.”
The words hung there for a beat, heavy and horrifying.
“He what?” He blinked, one eye twitching.

Yuuji’s eyes flicker over Gojo’s expression, the amusement in his smile, how his sunglasses have dipped down to his nose, revealing the way his lashes cast a little shadow over his cheeks. He wonders if Gojo ever realizes that what he’s doing—providing things: a meal, a drink, his jacket sometimes or even simple conversation—is the way he cares. “Not really, no, I trust you. The worst thing that happens is I don’t like it.”
Gojo smiles and Yuuji feels that cozy blanket of pleased wrap ever tighter. It feels very reminiscent of sitting in front of a fire with your favorite blanket.

“You know, Nanami,” says Gojou Satoru, “when I told you to take care of Yuuji, this is not what I meant.”
“Gojou-san,” Kento rasps, voice thick with sleep and worse, “I assume Shouko-san told you about the situation.”
“Well, she left out a few key details,” Gojou says, that scimitar of a smile widening. “Or did she? You didn’t tell her, did you? For shame, Nanami.”
“I take it you came to fetch Itadori-kun.”
“I sure did,” he confirms, all faux cheer. “Now I don’t know. I’d hate to do that when Yuuji seems so…attached.”
Every word is serrated and suggestive, but even worse is the way Gojou’s eyes flicker to Kento’s groin, a pale eyebrow rising in some foul blend of surprise and mockery. Kento knows with damning certainty that Gojou’s seeing more than he should, those cursed eyes not limited by line of sight.
It’s impossible, then, to ignore the cock inside him and the boy it’s attached to.
Stress and trauma trigger Yuuji’s rut a few years too early. Kento’s too kind for his own good, while Satoru’s too curious for anyone’s good.
