    Summary

Someone needs to tell Till how to cope when the man who’d been in love with him in their past life no longer looks at him anymore.

Never mind. He doesn’t need to cope. He’ll grab that guy’s face with his own two hands and make him look at Till again.

    Summary

“Let me show you how much better it can be,” they insist. “If you don’t like it, you can always say no.”

Sunday almost laughs. A kindness has to be paid with a kindness. Gopher Wood arranged him to be here, to have this power and responsibility, and any extra luxury is gluttonous. But what about declining that which he should be grateful for? Is attention interest worry not kindness to be repaid?

    Summary

Aventurine makes it out of the abyss - and into a different world. Things are different here - simpler. There are no Aeons, no intergalactic factions and corporations, no Paths and Blessings. He is not naïve enough to assume that there is no cruelty and discrimination here - for there always is - but for the most part, everything is peaceful.

Here, Aventurine's priorities are getting people's coffee orders right. Fairly straight forward, if you ask him.

Except for the bit where he is surrounded by too many familiar faces, and they remind him of a place he can no longer return to. That's okay. People come and go, and so will they.

Except for the bit where they come and go and come back.

AKA. Aventurine gets dropped into a coffee-shop AU with all the memories from before. He's handling things until he's not handling things. That's okay, because he still has friends (and Dr Ratio) in this world. He just doesn't know it yet.

    Summary

Whatever Ratio had drunk, it must have been strong for him to be acting like this. “Yeah, Doc, it’s time you go to sleep-”

    “I love you.”

Aventurine’s head whipped back into place to face Ratio. Those words couldn’t be real. Not coming out of Ratio’s mouth, and not directed towards Aventurine. He needed confirmation. He needed confirmation that this was real, he wasn’t dreaming, he wasn’t insane, he was here, he was real and that actually happened. Because not even in his wildest dreams would something as impossible as this occur. Desperately, Aventurine seized Ratio’s arms which were loosening around him as he looked to him for validation.

Aventurine stared at him in horror.

    Ratio was passed out.

    ◇─◇──◇─◇

A drunk Ratio admits he loves Aventurine. Only Aventurine remembers the confession by the next morning.

    Summary

Grian presumed his soul was actively leaving his body – providing him with just another last minute delusion to take him into the next life - until he heard music.

His tired delusions were a lot of things, but they were never music.

Grian blinked, once, twice, then a third time. Still, the shape on the horizon didn’t fade. The light didn’t fade. The music didn’t fade. This wasn’t the blurry shadow of what may or may not be a rock, or the light of the moon against a wave imitating a town. This was a genuine miracle. This was his relief.

    It was a ship!

    - or -

After being cursed by a witch, Grian finds himself stuck in the form of a parrot with no way to change back, and only a conveniently handsome pirate captain to rely on until he reaches land.
