Summary
Gon Freecss is a high schooler on Tofua’amotu, a small island in the middle of nowhere. He’s always felt like he was missing something, or someone. He wonders who or what it could be. His father maybe? One day, he inexplicably begins to have vivid dreams that he is a boy named Killua Zoldyck, who lives in a mansion and goes to school in York New City, a big city on the mainland. When he wakes, he’s back in his home. As his Aunt Mito and his friends at school tell him how strange he acted the day before, he begins to put it together - he and Killua are switching places when they sleep! They agree to work together until this strange phenomenon comes to an end. Gon did not anticipate, however, the strong bond he begins to feel with the strange boy from York New. He finds that he doesn’t really want it to end…
Gon has so many questions, and he must find the answers in the limited time he has. Why is Killua’s body always so painful to be in? Why are they switching places? And what will he do when the switching stops, possibly never able to see Killua again? Maybe it really was all just a dream that he will learn to stop chasing…((A Killugon ‘Your Name’ au))

“Do you think they drifted apart?” There was a somber note in Killua’s tone.
Gon hummed in response. “No, I don’t think so.” Killua was staring at him again, hanging onto his every word. Gon sensed that there was something about the story that had struck a chord in the other. “I think space and time are different up there, y’know? Kind of like how space and time feel different when we’re together.”
(Or Killua celebrates Gon's birthday with him and learns that even in different traditions the stars always have a lot to say.)

“And this-” he shifts his grip and pulls the necklace taught around Charles’s throat, “how does this make you feel?”
Charles can’t suppress the shudder, nor the choked gasp. He isn’t sure he wants to. “Good.” It’s the tamest word swirling about his head that gets pulled into the air.
“Oh, I’m sure. I knew I clocked you right away, with that ridiculous bat twirling and the death glare.” The Cat King’s other hand comes up to grip Charles’s chin. Charles wants to fall forward, closer to warmth and touch and bliss. “A barking little pup eager to prove himself to his master.”
in which charles gets dragged into self-discovery, the cat king is a menace, and edwin is very lost but very on board.
