actions speak louder than wordsCastiel was entrusted with the most sacred mission: protect the Michael Sword, the Righteous Man, until he comes of age to be of use to Heaven in the war against Lucifer. He willingly fell to earth, with the knowledge that he would be captured and enslaved, and eventually fall into the possession of the Righteous Man’s father. He was not prepared for what that would entail, and the horror he would be forced to face at his master’s hands.
Dean was seven when Dad came back from a hunting trip with a bound, beaten man in a tan coat that suddenly went everywhere with them. His job, Dad explained, was going to be protecting Dean and Sam while Dad was away hunting.
At first, Dean doesn’t understand why the man stays around just to basically babysit them... Until one terrible day he does: it’s not that Castiel won’t leave, it’s that he can’t — and after that, nothing will ever be the same.
(Please note: Dean/Cas is the endgame, but does not happen while Dean is below the age of consent.)

Summary
After a whirlwind romance and a year that quickly passes, Castiel has no choice but to leave his alpha and newborn pup behind. It’s the only way he can protect the family he was never allowed to have. Dean doesn’t know Castiel’s real name, or the fact that he is a prince, and already betrothed to someone else. As far as he’s concerned, he and Jack have been deserted.
Five years later, Castiel is free and only wants to be reunited with his family. He learns that people who promised to look after his alpha and pup had lied, and Dean and Jack have completely disappeared. When the prince finally does get a lead, the information is worse than he could have imagined.

Summary
Dean is a Prince, and even in the 21st century he’s expected to make a good match (unfortunately for Castiel, marrying your local librarian and best friend apparently doesn’t count). The announcement of Dean’s upcoming arranged marriage to someone he doesn’t even know hits Castiel hard.
But late in the night during his bachelor party in Las Vegas, Dean leans over to Castiel and asks him a question. Castiel knows he should say no. But the next morning, Dean and Castiel wake up with matching rings on their fingers.
With an international incident only one mistake away, Dean and Castiel begin trying to get an annulment in secret - but slowly realise that neither of them wants to spend the rest of their lives apart.

When his strong, indomitable father announces his intention to stop cancer treatments, Dean's world is rocked, but that's nothing compared to his shock when he meets John's new nurse. Dean changed schools more often than he changed shoe sizes growing up, but he remembered Castiel. Was it too much to hope that Castiel remembered HIM?

Summary
One of the best episodes of Land of the Lost was called Circle. It served as a potential series finale if the show did not get renewed. However, it did get renewed. The events of this episode do not fit with the rest of the series. Circle depicted events that showed the Marshall family getting home. Of course, if they got home, it would be hard to explain Uncle Jack and Rick getting home later in the series. It also does not fit with the episode Elsewhen. This story is from Enik's point of view, and shows how the lessons he learned from his encounters with the Marshall family led him to his solution to the paradox as shown in Circle, and is my attempt to fit it within the continuity of the show.

Sam and Dean are working a case in Wyoming, but are distracted by news of a dangerous angel called "Castiel" who they can't remember ever having heard of before. The name seems a little bit familiar, but neither of the boys is sure why.
Based off of mid-season 9 (before mark of Cain, before the angel army); takes place several months later, in September 2014. Case fic wrapped in a big ol' amnesia mystery. NO SLASH; the idea is that this is something they could do on the actual show, like a 3-4 episode arc with some mini cases and a cool story running through it all. GETS VERY EMOTIONAL with super strong friendship/family themes, lotsa hurt/comfort, about three metric tons of Cas angst, feels galore, plus monsters and M&M's. [podfic version]

Summary
Dean Winchester hasn’t had roots since he was four years old. Since his mom was killed, the only home he’s known has been the Impala, too busy carrying on the family business to miss having one.
Cas has roots, and he despises them. Maybe he’s left his family behind, but it’s hard to let go of something you’ve been told your whole life.
When Dean and Cas’ paths collide on a hunt, perhaps there’s something to be learned.
The thing about roots is that they can be replanted somewhere new. And, they always grow back.

Summary
When Sam first exposed the case to him in the bunker library, Dean's first thought was a serial killer. Although the crimes are filthy, it was nothing that a human cannot do, they had sadly witnessed it many times already. Only came the second problem: two of the six victims had a missing heart and a third had been lacerated to death on a full moon night. It didn’t take any more for the Winchesters to load the Impala and drive in one shot to Indiana, the suspicions of a werewolf clearly settled in their minds.
