Techno grunted, tilting his head thoughtfully, and sunk a hand down into the dark mud. He returned it back up after a moment, staring at the thick, silty earth spilling between his fingers to plop down at his hooves. “Can’t pick up blocks. Can’t access inventory, can’t punch trees—”
“Can’t punch trees?!”
“Can’t punch trees,” Techno continued, aggrieved. “I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s a one life world as well, since that would be about right. If we die, do you know if Kristen is going to pull us out?”
Philza frowned thoughtfully. “I’m not sure— I’d assume so, but I’m not gonna lie, I wouldn’t want to take the chance.”
Techno’s sigh turned into a groan as he got himself to his feet, hooves splayed in the mud to keep himself from sinking any more than he had to. “Alright, fine. Let’s see what we’re working with.”Bookmarked by ZXI

Cellbit used to take the easy route when it came to hunting: find a weak prey, satiate his itch then run before anyone can notice the half-eaten body in the alley.
Now that Cellbit has a family to feed— two inmates he met in prison and a few strays they picked on the run, one of them barely nine years old— he’s more cautious to investigate his victims before attacking and grew used to mostly feeding on the scum of the scum, the vicious monsters who kill for the sake of it and entitled assholes who can’t take no for an answer, bastards who roam the world like they own it.
He said mostly.

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Pac steps onto the sand. The sound of stone against diamond falters before it continues, just long enough for Pac to know he’s been heard. He stops a few metres away. Best to keep his distance.
“Cell,” he says, then catches himself and adds “bit” on the end just a millisecond later, but clearly the pause was long enough to be noticed, if the hair standing up on Cell’s tail indicates anything.
Cellbit continues sharpening his sword. “Pac.” His voice is cold.

“Yeah.” The man moves on quickly. “Now where’s your coven? I’d like to have a few words with them about allowing their fledglings out alone so early in The Turning.”
Tommy says nothing, just glaring at the ground.
“You do have a coven, right?” Tommy ignores him. “Kid?”

Apollo opened the door, unmasked, looking incredibly irritated.
"Uh, hi Tommy." The blonde's irritation immediately faded when he saw the injuries of the hero in front of him. He ushered him inside, sitting him down on the couch.
“Jesus christ, Wilbur, how the fuck does this even happen? ” He asked, holding up Wilbur’s dislocated arm, making him wince.
"Quackity did it." He mumbled, and Tommy raised an eyebrow.
"Quackity? You can beat Quackity's ass with your eyes closed, Wilbur." Wilbur wasn't sure if he was meant to take that as a compliment or not. "You're just not focusing enough." Tommy scolded, holding up Wilbur’s other arm to heal the wounds from Quackity’s claws.
“I got a few decent blows on him.” Wilbur replied, trying to defend himself. But he knew Tommy was right. His mind had been drifting elsewhere for most of that fight. But he was too prideful to admit that. “I didn’t completely lose.”
"I don’t care who won, Wilbur. You've been coming to me with more and more injuries lately. You need to be careful, man. The guild needs you."
OR:
Wilbur is a hero barely being paid enough to make a living for himself and his daughter, Tallulah. Something needs to change.

He had imagined a ring on his finger soon. A carefully carved, cold, gold ring that Cellbit would also be adorning. Something that ties them together like an invisible string, sharing another reminder of their unshakable love, that they’d always be connected.
Roier imagines that invisible string. He watches it whirl around his finger, bend at the wind, cascading down onto the field, where it wraps around Cellbit’s finger. Although it’s invisible and nonexistent, he wants Cellbit to see it, acknowledge it.
Acknowledge that they weren’t doomed to fail from the beginning, just a matter of circumstance. Unfortunate ones at that.
Roier gets stuck in a time loop and has to relive Festa Junina and all the heartache a certain Brazilian brings him.

sometimes u start writin a fic and ur like 'yeah !! this will be chill and easy and comprehensible..' and then u look at canon and u write a bunch based off of that . and then its two months later and u look at canon again . and u go '.. well . oh goodness . oh no .'
so with this ^in mind , i will try to stay as true as i can to peoples backstories , federation business , etc ! at the end of the day i am trying to make lore for a developing source material , so stuff here may end up being different/contradicting actual canon ! please proceed with that in mind[EDIT as of 15/05/24 : source material is no longer developing i guess , so i might try and tie up some stuff my own way ._. ]

The man was an imposing figure that loomed in her doorway, silhouetted in red light. Smoke billowed like a warning behind him.
“Why are you here?” She signed, hands quivering so hard she wondered whether the words came out clear.
The man only tilted his head, as if trying to decipher the words. Perhaps he couldn’t speak sign language at all. In a clear, very human and not automated voice, he said, “Come on. You should leave before reinforcement comes.”
The man was something from a complete other world—not one of white walls and orderly schedules and chilling experiments, but one of endless forest and devastating virus and calamity.
She wasn’t sure which sounded worse.

Or: On a post-apocalyptic island destroyed by a virus, five children have been taken by the Federation to develop a cure. When they escape and meet a strange man living on the edge of town, he must take care of the kids, keeping them safe from the government that desperately wants them back.

He would shoot a phantom individual in the head with his imaginary shotgun and step away heroically to avoid the resultant green spray of acidic blood and brain matter while his platoon cheered.Of course, as he aged, such fantasies of resplendent heroism died long before he landed on Shanxi. Fortunate, because their enemies were not six-eyed insectoids that spewed acid and shat webbing. They were bipedal like most races, with only two forward-facing eyes, asari-like hands, and they bled red when bullets hit them. Sometimes, they even cried like asari.

Stories of a place called the Shire where her mother once lived and a placed called Erebor where, as far as she knows, her father still lives. Stories of dragons a thousand times larger, and more intelligent, than the beasts the orcs rode and of a strange concept called freedom where one was allowed to live as they wished with no one to tell them what they could, or could not do.
The stories meant little to Bilba. The only future she had was to live, and die, as a slave as countless number had before her.
And then the orcs dragged an injured female firedrake through the gates, her rider screaming obscenities behind her as he fought to reach her side...and everything changed.
