It is so fragile that the lightest of touches can shatter it like porcelain. Izuku is barely mended porcelain ready to be shattered at any moment. Maybe it wouldn’t have been today but eventually he would have crashed.

Summary
In which Merlin is a theatre usher and Arthur is a new security guard.
Merlin has been an usher at Camelot Theatre in the West End ever since he moved to London to live with his godfather Gaius. Now the theatre is under the new management of Uther Pendragon, who appears to have brought his entire family on its payroll. The new head of security operations and security guard Arthur is annoying, bossy, and much too stiff. But Merlin makes his peace, since he has to put up with him for almost every show from now on. You know the rest.

The cow at Merlin’s side begins munching on the heads of his handful of wheat.
“Oh, I see," he says, "You’re an oaf."
“What did you call me?”
“An oaf. A pumpkin short of its seeds. A turnip with no greens or roots.”
“How dare you.”
“Quite plainly, I thought, but I suppose given your intelligence or lack thereof, I might have been more direct the first time.”
Arthur draws himself up to his full height, aghast.

Summary
There was a time, not so long ago, when Arthur would have said that Merlin is… maybe not weak per se, but certainly not strong. He's an untrained peasant, after all, unused to the rigorous training of the sword and shield, the weight of chainmail and plated armour, the endurance built by sustained battle. He doesn’t have the obvious bulk of a knight, nor the keen reflexes lacing his muscles. He’s… well, yes, Arthur supposes he would have thought Merlin weak.
On his honour, he will never call Merlin weak after tonight.
