Kronos and Gaia were not happy being foiled by tiny slips of mortals, so they find the linchpin. For they wanted nothing more than to see their enemies fall come the next war, to watch with unbidden glee as their own bloodline fell to their destruction.
So, they seek out Poseidon’s boy and conspire a way to remove him from the playing field. Upon the finding that they can’t kill him, that Fate has forbidden them for it, they seek to use time against him. To remove him from the thread by sending him back to a time he never existed.
However, neither of them took into account the fact that there was a reason why Perseus Jackson was Poseidon’s only mortal child. Nor the fact that the boy had something older sleeping in his soul that would do anything to protect him, to give him another chance.
Neither of them took into account that the plan would not just effect Percy Jackson. Didn’t take into account that their plan would change everything.

Ananke is many things, she is a primordial, a mother, the personification of necessity and fate itself. She is the only one with absolute control of the fate of the universe, not a power she takes lightly, in fact the only other cosmic beings who know of this is Death, Chaos, Chronos, and her three daughters.
Sometimes however curiosity gets the better of her, and she peeks at the course of the Universes Fate.
In another Universe Ananke would’ve been able to withhold looking, push aside her curiosity and let her daughters do the jobs they were born for. In that Universe Harry Potter and Percy Jackson would stay the unique individuals they are, born 13 years apart.
But in this one Ananke peeks. She gives in to the seemingly innocent curiosity and she sees.
In this Universe Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are one in the same.
In this Universe Ananke pushes the wizarding world by 13 years changing births and events and manipulating all she can get her hands on in order for one Lillian Jennifer Potter nee Evans to meet Poseidon. Does all she can for the existence of Hadrian Perseus Potter.
Changes the course of this Universes Fate so utterly that she can no longer see its course.

Summary
There's a reason Hunk tries to never leave Lance alone for to long. Two weeks alone with no contact with other living beings is enough to make even the strongest of men depressed, except Lance had already been suffering from depression before they even left Earth.
This setback is enough to make Hunk sick to his stomach, especially after that disaster of a mission.

Lance had just so happened to be that unlucky kid, and now he has to deal with the memories and nightmares without help, and who could help him. Nobody understands what he went through at such a young age. So he signs up at the Garrison to get away and now he's in space so far away from his worst nightmares. Who knew Aliens would be so helpful for past trauma, torture, and abuse.

Lance watches the blood well up from the scrape on Hunks knee. She stares for a long moment, swipes her thumb along the wound, and then sticks the bloody appendage in her mouth.
Hunk watches her with resigned eyes.
"You aren't developing a taste for blood, are you?"
"I can't develop something I already had, sugarplum," Lance says brightly. She leans down and licks his knee all along the cut, humming happily at the taste.
The two of them watch as the cut closes before their eyes.
"I feel like I should be more concerned about this,” Hunk says, not sounding at all concerned. “This is very not normal. Like, delving into concerning levels of how not normal this is."
Lance wrinkles her nose. "Normal is boring. And you live for my weird flair. Keeps you entertained."
