Summary
His first stop out of town was the Smithsonian. He knew better, he knew he would sleep better at night (if he slept at all), by not digging into this. He had marketable skills for the right person, skills he knew would pay well. And most importantly, he no longer had a leash and collar.
But still there was this compulsion that said if he knew definitively who he was… it was a heady thought for someone who didn’t even know his own name.

Summary
Glorfindel, Lord of the House of the Golden Flower, struggles to reconcile his love for his friends with his horror over their actions at Alqualondë. But when Erestor Fëanorian is trapped in Gondolin after its closing, he finds himself dangerously attracted to this most Fëanorian of men.
Erestor Fëanorian knows no other love than that for the House of Fëanor and his lord Maglor. But when he finds himself alone among the suspicious Gondolindrim, he strikes a strange friendship with a man unlike any he has met before.

It’s a face Law can recognise in his sleep, thing is. Oh, his memory, ever-fallible and ever-cruel, has dulled the details over the years. But when he sees the face again (changed though it may be, paler and hollow-cheeked), in his mind’s eye it snaps once again into perfect clarity. It’s like rereading a passage from a well-loved book – a few sentences in, and you find yourself quoting the rest off by heart.
Or maybe it’s like seeing a ghost.
“Law,” the stranger says, sounding remarkably like he’s also seeing a ghost. Law wonders if he is professionally qualified to diagnose his own psychotic break.

Ace?!?!
Except he looks so, so different from how he did in the kitchen, or even out on deck while sparring Zoro. There’s a deadly expression on his face, stone cold and shadowed by the brim of his hat. His features are mostly blank and unreadable, thoughts carefully concealed with the skill of someone who’s experienced in confrontations, but his eyes give him away. They’re hard and black as coal, smoldering with an intensity that could only be deep-seated rage barely controlled, like the embers of a dying fire that could easily burst back to life if poked and prodded enough. The grip he has on Sanji’s arms is harsh and unyielding, and Sanji winces as Ace’s belt buckle bites into his lower back from how firmly he’s pushing the blonde up against the wall.
“Explain to me why a non-bender would fight using firebending techniques."
