This had me mentally writhing all over, trying to figure it out and then when I’d figured it, watching it play out so fucking beautifully that the end smacked me and called me an idiot for thinking I would be okay. This was stunning. This is publishable quality and I would buy it in a heart beat. This. Wow. There’s not even verbiage to cover it. What an epic, sensational fic. I absolutely adored this. The world building, the found family dynamics, the thawing of Tae’s heart and the development of Jungkook and Tae’s relationship was absolutely delightful. Every moment life gave me a second to breathe, I came back here to keep reading. I never lost interest or decided to pause and come back - this has had me in a consensual choke hold! What a treat it was! I loved it. It had all my favourite elements - Well written. Extremely sexy. Well rounded characters.
If you like vamps and well written fics, this is for you. Stay hydrated and remember snacks because it will consume you. -

Sometimes a fic will sneak in and break your heart, and sometimes they will suckerpunch their way in and smash you to bits. This is the latter. The final scene is sheer cinema and I don’t think I would ever survive it being played out live - my minds eye was bad enough. I am broken. I feel you need to be broken too. I want to say treat yourself, and it WOULD be a treat because it’s marvellously written, but ouch, it hurts too. So good.

I make no secret of the fact that I love vampire fics, so I’ve read a few, but this one - I have to recommend this one. My heart. I feel like I’ve been though the wringer and I loved it. I’m literally a mangled mess held together with the last few chapters acting like bandages and I LOVE IT. T rated fics aren’t usually my first choice, but something told me to read this - and now I am telling YOU to read this. It’s brilliant. I didn’t want to leave this universe. Treat yourself.

I am literally stunned at this piece. Stunned. To say this was phenomenal is to understate how this was. I’m not religious but Faith and religion was woven so masterfully through this, I definitely felt something resonate. To weave it into vampire lore and an ateez fic at that - this author is just that bloody good. I cried actual tears reading this and I feel I need some deep recovery breaths to settle myself because that last chapter is a ride! No spoliers, just leap. I loved this so very much.

You know when you read something, and it was bloody marvellous but also thought provoking, and you know in a few months time you will be thinking about it and wishing you could read it again? This is this fic and so it needs a bookmark. This is such a hidden gem of a fic, so bloody good with the world building and atmosphere, Vampires and witches, religion and ones faith being tested. When I say that this fic was sensational, I honestly can’t hype it higher than that. The hours I have spent mulling over what was happening and what could be happening and how the f*ck it was happening were immeasurable and honestly, I was gripped to the last word. Rarely does an OT(group number) work so well because invariably it can feel unbalanced for some, but this did not have that problem. Each unit had its own relationship and charms and although there were favourites (by their own admission), it didn’t feel like the other relationships were less than because of this - and this is down to the authors writing and world building. I felt like I watched one of those classic 80s movies where the soundtrack was bitching and the story held that tension throughout, without all the stupid effects. It was perfect. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

This here. Wow. Absolutely SENSATIONAL. honestly, that word count may initially seem intimidating but I could have happily immersed myself in 200k more. I wish there was a sequel! This was that good. I feel like I have taken the BEST journey and I’m not ready for it to end. This was such a clever concept and to follow Yeonjun throughout the twists and turns was amazing. I went through the wringer and beyond and I’m just not ready for it to be over. I have read some amazing fics so far in 2025 but this was an INSTANT bookmark because I know I’ll be thinking about this one for a while. Phenomenal.
If you want to be immersed in a dystopian world of Alpha/Omega and feel all of the feels then this is for you. Buckle up. Get snacks. And tissues. And brace yourself because you will not be able to put it down.

With a little luck, Yunho meets The Aurora Society for Paranormal Investigation. Before he knows it, his life gets tied in with all seven of theirs, and tied into the town itself. Will they ever catch proof? Who knows. But they’ll have each other to scream with along the way.

Have you ever fallen down a rabbit hole of a fic, and then emerged hours later, squinting into the sun. From my bookmarks previously, you know I have. This little beauty is one of those. It was absolutely freaking stunning! I went in to it expecting adventure and a jolly good time with that word count (she’s a lengthy soul), and I got it in spades, but I have also been gripped - like a woman possessed (heh heh) - by this fic! Hours and hours I have absorbed every delicious word and twist. Honestly, this both frightened and thrilled me deliciously and I could happily ready another 500k of the teams adventures and next steps. I had tears in my eyes for every big emotional scene and had literal CHILLS with every haunting (no spoilers but I would have DIED). I had to stop reading this at night because I was jumping at every noise. At one point my cat meowed at me mid chapter and my heart nearly leapt out the window. The author wove such a fantastic piece, throughout the build up to the big showdown at the house. I swear. Perfection. I would pay money. MONEY. to see this made into a film. It feels like I have just watched a classic horror film (which fyi I’m such a scaredy cat for) and I both both satisfied and waiting for the cracking theme tune to come on while the credits roll. I would buy this in book form too (I sincerely hope the author is a published author, because they had me held tight throughout with their skills! What a saga. I loved this and don’t have the words. Bravo!

If you wondered how an ot8 can be done feasibly and without any obvious ‘left out’ issues - this is it. The world building is exquisite. When WHC1 ended I felt so unresolved and in bits. How could I continue without knowing what happened next, after becoming so immersed in all that pain and feelings?! And that end scene in the hospital?! Of course, fandom came to the rescue and this little beauty scooped me up and healed some of the open wounds from WHC1. If you’ve experienced WHC1 and too need resolution, this is the fic for you. I loved it.

This is an absolute journey. I don’t know how I haven't read it before because I usually devour ot8 long fic but this little gem only recently came to my attention and I LOVED IT. I absolutely would have enjoyed 200k more. Sadly the sequel was abandoned, but the end of North resolves itself and lets it stand alone comfortably. The tags may make your eyes pop, and I won’t lie, the later chapters do come with their own dark warnings, but if you can get through it (I think you can), it is so worth it.
If you want forged family feels and finding one’s place in the world, this is for you. You will lose time to this fic but you won’t be mad about it.I love it.

Have you ever read something that just struck a chord in you so hard that your very soul vibrates with it? And it feels like something cracked and aired out something unnamed and leaves you echoing for a little bit? This was this fic. I read this weeks ago and didn’t bookmark it immediately - I commented to tell the author how marvellous this piece was and how much of an impact it had, and then scurried off to lick my wounds, forgetting to bookmark. But this piece didn’t leave me and that’s when you KNOW this needs bookmarking. I had to come back and bookmark it and rec it because this piece was/is a wrecker and it needs to be on my list. It is such a beautifully cinematic piece at times and honestly the author wrote such a painful, heart rending topic so skillfully, I would absolutely watch the sh*t out of this. I cried reading it. I cried thinking about it. I cried when I heard Jongho’s Everything because it made me think of this. So …..yeah. It’s a teary fic but my god it is massive and worth it. If you are in a good space and can take the pain, read this. Or even if you’re not and need the catharsis of feeling emotions that don’t stem from you (as I did), read this. And then everything else the author has written - I’m not kidding, it’s all good. The author may never realise how much I adored this piece, because I can’t convey it all, but I did. Come adore it too.

There’s so much to say about this fic and yet words elude me. I have been GRIPPED for days and my heart must have been wrung out at least 70 million times during this. If you want something that’s action based with found family feels and so much trauma you couldn’t carry it 20 buckets but by the end it all packed away neatly in a carry bag - this is absolutely for you. 100% recommended

The warning was there, they had time to make it out. When the power went out without a moment’s notice followed by the water disappearing shortly after, Seonghwa knew that his screaming instincts weren’t to be ignored like his roommate told him. The portable radio they used only screamed static except for the occasional alarming words that no one believed because it was April 1st and it was all supposedly a big prank.
That’s all it was, right? Some big prank? That’s what Seonghwa’s roommate told him at least, but look where his roommate was now.
Or: Seonghwa attempts to survive during a zombie apocalypse and ends up meeting six loyal men and one incredibly cold-hearted leader to keep him company as they try to make it out alive.
