The light overhead isn't from Minion island's overcast sky but instead a steel plated ceiling shining down fluorescence, glass and plastic bottles rattling on shelves against the walls. Everywhere there's monitors and familiar machinery and the distinct tang of antiseptic, sharp beyond the memory sense of blood and snow. For half a second Law looks at it all very blankly and thinks, What The Hell. Is he dreaming. Is he hallucinating. Is he just plain dead. His sight-line completes the rotation of this impossibility to fall upon speckled jeans and a long sweeping coat. And the man standing in front of Law has the blankest expression Law's ever seen. And the man standing in front of Law has Law's father's face.
Underneath Law's blood-slicked fingers, Cora-san's pulse shudders.
(This is a story where the past and the present collide. Wherein thirteen year old Trafalgar Law and twenty-six year old Rocinante tumble sideways through time-space via the blue desperation of a newly eaten devil fruit, from Minion island to a future distant. Sanji tilts his head back so that it rests against the dirty wall behind him. He’s still upright, somehow, through sheer stubbornness or spite. He doesn’t look like someone who only has tonight left to live.
In fact, he looks sharp. There’s no better word for it. His expression is still as peaceable as it has been since he arrived, but watching him is like watching a knife slide out of its sheath. He is, abruptly, dangerous. A tool made for cutting.
“If you knew where I’ve been, you would be terrified of me,” he says.

With Kaido's defeat, the people and country of Wano can breathe once more. A time to celebrate and rebuild and open up the borders of the closed off country!
The story line rings a bell to the Straw Hats but soon goes off course as they stay for a short time after the party, a wish made by Sanji to help the villages that need food for their starving people.
It’s when one of those convoy’s are attacked by a mysterious beast, and claims of cursed illnesses and fallen guardian deities arise, that they realize they might have bitten off more than they could chew.
And it all has something to do with Sanji feeding a little fox.

sanji merely looked down upon the limp body that was now his ex-captain. he felt the guilt of his betrayal settle deep within his gut and twist his insides, making him want to heave. he hoped luffy would understand, and nami's screams only deepened the wound in his soul.
this man saved him, and sanji had kicked him down to the ground.
i'm doing this for your own good, he thought, unsure whether he was convincing himself or the pirates he grew to love so much. the last thing nami and luffy saw of their former cook was the look of guilt and regret that flashed across his face for just that moment before he turned away, and they froze speechless as they watched the carriage drive further and further away.the next time they'd see him, it wouldn't be sanji. at least, not the same sanji - not with that slick, vanta black hair and those dull eyes.
or, to put it simply, sanji learns what it really means to be a vinsmoke, and realizes the lengths his nakama would go to just to rescue their cook.

“Oh! Did you grow up eating this, Sanji? You’re from the North Blue, right?”
There is a brief moment where Sanji considers strangling the little doctor, as he can feel the focus of everyone on the ship land squarely on him.
Law’s eyes narrow at that, and Sanji can see them briefly flick in the direction of where Franky and Brook are now bemoaning their lack of knowledge about his background, and then slowly move back until they were focused on him instead.
Oh. This was a mistake.
Trafalgar Law has the weirdest accent he's ever heard, and is clearly hiding something. Sanji is determined to get to the bottom of it.The Straw Hats' chef speaks the Northern language like no one else Law has ever heard, and Law is intent on picking that mystery apart.
