Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

When Seonghwa's family left him home to go join a Hunter Clan it was supposed to be safe, he was supposed to keep the family store running until they returned. But when monstrous Shades left the village devastated Seonghwa set out for the Clan cities, hoping either to find somewhere to start over or find his family that left. The pain of being one of the few survivors hadn't been supposed to fuel a desire to fight, but as Seonghwa gets further into his journey the desire to find the Shades that destroyed his home grows stronger. Before he knows it he's set out on a path to join a Hunter Clan and find justice for his village. At least the two friendly foxes he ran into while he traveled seemed on board with the plan.

Seonghwa had felt fear like this before, something akin to vipers beneath his bloodstream or tornados in his throat, wreaking havoc on gentle days and turning them into nightmares. Fear had often rooted for a long while within Seonghwa, waiting and waiting and waiting until the last possible moment to strike with a ferocity that left furls of panic in its wake.
And, in that moment, underneath the calendar with the circled red date — underlined twice by Wooyoung to make sure of its importance — Seonghwa was most definitely panicking.
(or: seonghwa is about to have top surgery, but upon finding out that there is no one to take care of him in the days after, he calls up an old friend, and ends up with a lot more love and warmth and new-found feelings than he'd bargained for)
