A set of interconnected vignettes from different characters' point of view, this oneshot explores the lives of four umamusume who can't run. Playing the game I realized this setting has so much to offer MORE MORE JUMP! but also to Saki, who's relevant to Airi's story and here, also to Haruka's. Saki and Mai get to be each other's only friends in the hospital, the final year of junior high, and this is a bit of a Mai fic because it tears me up she doesn't get any screentime in canon.
