Summary
“What the fuck.” Usually he would restrain his reaction a bit, but he’s far too preoccupied staring at his dead sensei-turned-father-figure’s orphan son, all of six years old and sitting in the middle of his living room, grinning full at a bunch of stray dogs Kakashi’d semi-adopted.
Naruto looks up at him, apparently finally clueing in to the fact that he is no longer alone in the apartment. For a moment, the grin lingers, and he looks so much like Minato that it hurts. Then, the grin vanishes, and Naruto’s face contorts in shock and terror.
The grin hurt, but this expression feels like a punch directly to Kakashi’s gut, and he resists the urge to keel over at the force of it. Having Minato-sensei’s kid—the kid he would be a brother to were it not for the Kyuubi—look at him like he expects an attack chills Kakashi to the bones.

Six-year-old Naruto has been coming into this one apartment via the doggy door for months. He thinks it's a place specifically for the stray dogs that are always there. Kakashi, the owner of the apartment, thinks otherwise. It's a surprisingly good time.

Summary
Hatake Kakashi has been pulled off of ANBU duty to become a jonin teacher. In effort to keep himself at least somewhat entertained as well as to prevent from having to put too much effort into training his genin, he informs them that a jutsu he made up on the spot is too difficult for them to preform and has them practice until he deems them ready. Meanwhile, Team 7 begins taking after Kakashi, and that includes being interested in this jutsu of his as well.
AKA: Kakashi ends up training his team by trying to not train them, the Leaf Village is convinced Kakashi's making mini-Kakashis out of his students, and enemy nin become scarred for life.

Year after year of being thrown into life-threatening danger at Hogwarts while surrounded by people who can’t decide whether they love or hate him only to be shunted off to the Dursleys –who certainly aren’t shy about how much they hate him– every summer?
It feels like the fighting never ends. Harry is so, so tired…

This is very fun! I actually really like the way that the language barrier is the greatest enemy of this story because the limited communication keeps everything unpredictable (to me at least). The OC's intelligence levels and abilities are consistent throughout the story, the other characters actually feel like people instead of actors hired to set the OC up for success, and this fic doesn't run into one of the biggest problems (in my opinion) I find sometimes in stories with a similar premise (character with knowledge of the future gets sent to point where it hasn't happened yet); namely, when the author preserves the original plot in ways that don't make sense. I won't elaborate on that last bit, since this comment is about a series that doesn't have that problem. When this author preserves the original plots, they do it in ways that make sense and aren't forced. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to describe what I like most, but I think it can be summed up by saying that there is good, consistent writing and good, consistent characters. I will admit, the second part of the story is in its infancy as I type this, so everything I've said here is not guaranteed beyond part one (not that I think the second part is going to be bad or anything, I just don't want to give the false impression that I've read everything there will ever be in the series. And I know me. I'm never coming back to edit this blurb).

Not that any of this matters terribly much to Dream, who’s mostly occupied with hiding from the government. Combine that with trying to keep Tommy alive, the surprisingly-not-dead teenager he found in a mass grave, and Dream is far too busy to worry about civil wars or missing princes.
(In which Dream is an immortal with a grudge against the Antarctic Empire, Tommy poorly attempts to keep and succeeds at keeping his identity a secret, and Techno is going to rescue his little brother from the evil necromancer even if it kills him.)
