A fully recovered Hollow Knight is starting to feel at peace. Sure, there were some restless and interrupted sleepings, how could there not be after what they’ve been through? But they’ve gotten past desperately repeating a mantra in their head, past the guilt of never being pure. Past the constant terrors of sleep. They had such loving siblings and friends to guide them through those times. It took awhile, but the Hollow Knight finally was happy.
They still had one thing that needed to be taken care of.

Summary
As their Generator malfunctions and fails, the city of Winterhome finds itself in dire straits. Alone in the Frostlands, and with nowhere to escape to, the death of the city is all but guaranteed.
However, a chance discovery by a scout team offers a new hope; a massive cavern, with breathable air, fresh water, and protection from the cold. Left with no other options, the city begins to evacuate, hoping that they have finally found their shelter from the storm.
Unfortunately for the survivors of Winterhome, their newfound refuge is far from the safe harbor they had prayed for. Trapped in an unfamiliar kingdom, and with temperatures on the surface plummeting, the Captain finds himself caught between the whims of Higher Beings and the encroaching Great Frost.

After foiling an attempt by Pharloom to kidnap Hornet, some of the more powerful figures in Hallownest decide to forego any armies or anything and just raid the place themselves. Thoroughly.
Featuring:
The Pale King of Hallownest, no further introductions needed;
The Radiance, Fluffy Moth Goddess of Dreams, and Holly, her Vessel, who was supposed to be thoughtless but, er, isn't;
Ghost, one of the Pale King's other voided children and by far the most powerful one of the lot;
Herrah the Beast, Queen of Deepnest and also a Weaver;
Hornet, demigod daughter of Herrah and the Pale King and therefore very well-placed to eat a lot of Pharloom's power;
...and others! To a lesser extent. And mostly in future chapters.(Will hopefully end up completed and not on indefinite hiatus. The chapter count is currently an estimate.)
