Summary
Luca Haas is playing on a team with both his hockey idols, he's not the youngest on the team anymore, they made it to the playoffs last season, this season they're locked in from the start. Luca's also realizing that he's a bit alone on his team. He's known he's queer,for years. He knows his team would accept him, the way they've accepted Troy, Ilya, Shane and Harris but... His best friend asks about girls he's hooked up with, the other "kids" all talk about their conquests. He could talk to his captain about it but Ilya's busy figuring out marriage, parenting a teenager, and navigating the foster care system.
Ash Holmberg still, kind of, wants to die. He's cycling through medications, attending therapy and doing everything he's supposed to be doing after inpatient treatment. His twin brother's moved him into the frat house he shares with two other professional hockey players. He knows that his brother would be wrecked if he actually died. So he draws and works and pretends like he's doing okay. And then he realizes how frat-bro-y his brother and his friends are and gets conscripted into helping turn all six of them into dateable adults.

Troy eyed Luca, noting his shaking hands. “You okay Haasy? You’re a little pale, sure you weren’t outside for too long?”
The kid visibly swallowed, looking like he was going to explode if he didn’t get out of this room. “Fine, something happened, but it’s not a big deal or anything I just need to go get—“ He cut himself off, but Ilya latched onto his words anyways.
”Get what, Haas? Someone? Something? Is snowing, yes? What could possibly be worth going out in this weather?” His captain was clearly not going to let this one go, which Troy honestly couldn’t blame him for.
Harris stepped up on the opposite side of Troy from Ilya, resulting in the kid being sort of boxed in against the door. Troy would put money on that being the thing that finally forced the confession out of Luca’s mouth.
”I need to go pick up my boyfriend.”(Or: Luca is a simp, Ilya torments, Troy gets tormented, Harris just wants everyone to get home safe, and the Ottawa Centaurs continue to collect queer players like Pokémon)

"I wanna quit hockey" He said and waited for the yelling. Or something from his parents. They allmost never yelled at him and his brother, but still. Kei just stood their as shock passed over his parents face's. His mom's first and then his dad's.
"That... ehm okay, sweetheart" His dad said. His dad looked at his mother then back at him. Kei's mom was still sitting there in shock at what she had just heard "Is there a reason why, did something happen at practise?"
"No, i just i dont like it" He said and felt his hands twisting together when his mom still said nothing. "I ehm think it is just not for me. I love skating and i dont hate hockey or anything. I just think that maybe hokcey it not for me. Ehm i dont like when we have to scrimmage or like ehmmm are you mad?"
