Shane and Ilya had mutually agreed to keep their whatever-they’re-doing out of Sochi. It was an easy decision to make: this was bigger than any MLH rivalry and definitely bigger than a few hotel hook-ups. There was no room for distractions, not with Olympic gold on the line.

Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.

"Oh, and why-ever for?"
She flipped the pen over so that he could easily take it from her hand, 'coincidentally' pointing it straight at his nose in the process. She shot a quick sideways glance at Sakura before her eyes came back to his and smiled in a way that scrunched her nose cutely. "You sign it, and I take care of your... problem for you." She answered him with a tasteful eyebrow waggle. Kakashi had no idea how she managed to make eyebrow waggle tasteful, seduction specialist sure were something else.
Or: Kakashi is despairing about Sakura's habit to wear civilian perfume, and well on his way to becoming canon Kakashi. Except a chunin kunoichi sees it and decides it's an excellent Opportunity to get Kakashi to owe her one

We sailed the East Blue, gathered a small crew, survived Reverse Mountain, and finally made it to the Grand Line.
Now that Ace and I have bounties, we can’t seem to catch a break from all the bounty hunters that keep coming after us, and that’s not even mentioning the marine captain who is bound and determined to arrest Ace or make him change sides as she chases us from one end of the Grand Line to the other.
Also, Ace doesn’t know it, but Sabo is alive and out there in the Grand Line somewhere too, and I’m bound and determined to find him with the help of my News Coo friends. If he would stop moving around so much, this would be a lot easier.
