Rozanov cocked his head. “You speak Russian? Or just the curse words?”
“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Sekani is starting to get worried for real. The new primoid doesn’t calm down.
It’s perfectly normal for them to be aggressive in the first hours. It’s actually a good sign when they are not catatonic or too frozen from fear. Some react by sitting in a corner and staring at a point in front of them, others by being very loud but in both cases usually after an hour or so, they understand that there is no way out, they are not going to be hurt, and they gradually calm down.Usually they also eat and drink, maybe after some temptation, but eventually hunger wins their worries. And after seeing that the food doesn’t make them sick, they eat when given.
This one still hasn’t touched food or water, going on full speed in dehydration if he keeps going like this, and he has broken down everything that could be broken in his kennel.
OR Sekani is a vet alien that is specialized in the resque and care of stray humans. The new human is quite a thing..

The human leant forward, his eyes and scent turning dark and dangerous, as if he’d heard the direction John’s thoughts had taken. “Don’t test me,” he spoke in a low rumble that had John’s fur rippling down his spine, “I could have just as easily left you there to die. I can and will overpower you if you fight me.”John blinked slowly and met the human’s gaze for a few long, tense seconds, before he dropped his gaze and his tail, walking forward until he was at the human’s feet. There, he sat, and rested his head cautiously on the human’s thigh.
“Good boy,” the human murmured, his scent turning light and pleased, and long fingers sunk into John’s thick fur, caressing him tenderly.
John could feel the tension easing out of him at the gentle affection, his eyes closing. He felt safe, and secure. This human Alpha would care for him and protect him, John could sense it. And in turn, John would devote himself to his Alpha.

Summary
Castiel honestly didn't know why he was so against getting a pet in the first place. The human was easy to take care of, companionable, and quick to obey. Dean didn't have the same sleep rhythm or eating patterns as him but there was a certain charm in having his pet curl up beside him and nap or get excited about its meals.
He knew his pet was probably no more intelligent than most humans but with nothing else to focus on during a shipment it was hard not to be endlessly amazed at all the commands Dean could remember. He understood now why people bragged about their pets even if he was loathed to admit it.
