In a shiromuku next to Madara who looks stupidly handsome in his montsuki with the Uchiha fan on his back surrounded by her Haruno circle of unity.
Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.
How did my life come to this?

Sakura gets sent careening into the Warring States Era due to a Uzushio ruin seal and decides to make it everyone else's problem.
Somehow, along the way, Uchiha Freaking Madara decides he likes the way she shatters the earth with her fist and demands she marry him.

Tsunade puts her foot down (and through several floors) and Orochimaru reluctantly allows Kakashi to join Team Minato because apparently socialization is necessary for healthy development. No stalking is also good for healthy relationships but no one ever claimed that Orochimaru and Kakashi are healthy. Nonetheless, Kakashi is learning and growing and attempting to become a chuunin.
He adulted once. He could definitely do it again. Ish.

Summary
Time travel at its core revolves around knowledge and control, is lauded in folktales, and used as flimsy excuses in trashy novels. Time travel takes a peon of fate and makes them omniscient for one glorious moment, until they cast their die and crash the future fully off course in whatever they have deemed a justifiable cause.
In short, time travel has made Kakashi a control freak. How…piteous. And embarrassing, not that anyone knows to judge him.
