Egg always admired Wemmbu’s hair.
The shimmer that overtook it in the light, the lovely purple colour, the fact it grew faster than he’s seen any mortal’s hair ever grow.
Maybe it was because it was so interesting that Egg liked nights like these. Nights he could braid and style it to whatever he wanted, as long as he brushed it out the next morning. And, the best part, Wemmbu said he hated it most of the time. When Egg proudly announced he’d finished and shoved a mirror at the other man’s face, the other would scowl or sigh or pout.
He could tell, though. The angel could always tell. Something about the look on his face every time said something else.

Or, Eggchan admires Wemmbu's hair, even when it isn't as 'spectacular' as before.

Her hands trembled.

She died in the last chapter, making sure he doesn't kill himself...so I had to write her discovering more of him...in a bath. Clothes on through.
