Just him and Flins, and the steady purr of a tiny gray ally against his stomach.
And then—
Whap.
Something bats into his hair.
Varka startles, jerks back just enough to see Sol standing on the back of the couch, tail swishing and paw already raised for another swipe. He sees the warning for what it is. Eclipse makes her appearance, by mewling at Flins' feet, urging for his attention. And there goes the moment.
"Fuck," He groans in despair, lips still tingling from Flins' kiss. "The calvary is here."
