Zoey is vegan. She rarely brings it up, and if she ever tries to say it, her throat closes up. Even though Mira and Rumi aren't vegan, she's so privately thankful they accommodate her.
Mira is vegan. Sometimes, she cooks realistic plant based meats. Even though only Zoey eats them, it's still better than nothing.
Rumi is vegan. She's relieved Zoey and Mira have never voiced dissatisfaction that everything she provides is vegan, but still privately wishes her girls wouldn't cook meat in the penthouse.

Niffty was a fascinating little conversational partner, and there was nothing that banished the horrors of a mental breakdown and meeting the mother of humanity quite like learning about brand new horrors – albeit of a less personal nature.
Well, less personal to Alastor, at any rate.
He nodded politely, one fist propped under his chin as his forkful of pasta went cold in the other, his smile broad and interested. Niffty, for her part, was delighted to have Alastor's undivided attention – and he wondered if he hadn't been neglecting his friendships in favour of his newfound relationship with the man sitting at his side, Lucifer's stolen glances weighty enough that Alastor felt the skin on his back was going to bruise, with how often they were levelled his way.

Alastor hadn't seen Lucifer around the hotel in days.
It wasn't exactly that he was looking for him, it was just that his absence was... conspicuous.
And he couldn't even ask anyone about it, considering nobody else was commenting on it, either, so for him to bring it up may seem particularly suspicious.
Charlie seemed a little down, but not surprised by her father's sudden disappearance. Just... subdued. Perhaps she was resigned to her father's unexplained absences.
The worst thing was, he'd tried slinking through the shadows into Lucifer's rooms to see what he was doing, the first day he'd gone twenty four hours without emerging, only to find himself blocked by a never before present wall of angelic power.

Summary
It seemed even Alastor's eldritch senses had abandoned him, as disgusted with how he'd reacted in that alleyway as he was. He should have woken at the first hint of somebody intruding into Lucifer's room – but the first he knew of it, a hand was stroking carefully over the back of his head, fingers delicately probing at the blood-matted hair stuck to his skull.
He tensed, his chest seizing at the idea that somebody else was putting their hands on him, had him at such a disadvantage. Static squealed in the air, feedback sputtering as he dipped into the well of his power to see whether he'd managed to rest enough to recover even a shred of his normal strength.
The effort sent agony bursting behind his closed lids, and an unintentional whimper of pain escaped him, briefly too dizzy to do anything at all.

The closest Alastor's ever gotten to romance comes in the form of—in order of increasing hilariousness—a couple of botched youthful attempts at kissing, cheap mass-produced smut comics, and the wildly entertaining tales of other people's sordid affairs.
He's never wanted sex. He's never wanted love. He's never seen a problem with this.
It's taken about a century, but he's pleasantly surprised to discover that the rest of the world is finally starting to catch up with his perspective.
More than anything else, he’s pleased that these new modern attitudes have given him extra opportunities for bad puns.

Vox was pretty much going for a celebratory fuck with Val to top off what has so far been the best day of his un-life, right in front of Alastor’s proverbial salad, mostly to rub in his old friend’s helplessness and discomfort. Alastor’s always been lame and weird about sex—the guy has no interest in it, and not even in a fun, dramatic way! He just thinks it’s boring and pointless and, as he once actually said, uncomfortably damp. So Vox isn’t under the impression that he could get Alastor to actually participate—

Summary
To avoid Vox’s insatiable sexual appetite Alastor “accidentally” misplaces the strap- on Vox had given him. Secure in the fact that their sex life would go back to normal, and Alastor could enjoy a quiet evening of having his tentacles do all the work the radio demon is surprised when his partner shows up with yet another one of Valentino’s sex toy recommendations.
Alastor is skeptical at first but once Vox gives him a hand with this new toy he really gets sucked into the feeling.

That awful word seemed to ring throughout the whole town, again and again and again.

OR: Scott makes a comment about how Avid would be of better use to the town on a pyre than accusing citizens of murder, and all the walls Owen had built crumpled down in front of him.

“And Valentino is expecting you to use me to relieve that.”
“Yep.”
“But you are not planning on raping me?”
Vox flinches. “The fuck? Of course not! I mean—” His flush brightens. “I could. Don’t think I couldn’t, or wouldn’t. I will have whoever I want, baby! But that’s not the sort of win I want over you. I know it wouldn’t break you, and that’s no fun. And you’d hate it.”
“I think that is rather the point,” Alastor says, slowly, like he’s talking to an idiot.
Valentino is fed up with Vox obsessing over their captive but not following through and decides to push the issue by drugging him. It changes nothing, and everything.
