“I’m not,” Tommy agrees easily, finding his fists have settled around his own arms, digging nails into his skin, holding himself together as he unravels and whispers, “I’m just Tommy… and somehow that’s worse.”

Summary

Then there was the cleanup act. Then, finally, something worth doing with his life. Eleven years after his attack, Harvey Harvington finds himself using that experience to aid in severe trauma cases. When a particular call comes in, he quickly finds himself in the middle of something much larger than he could have anticipated. The question is if he can keep a tight enough hold on the safety net he's made himself, and will he have the strength left to haul someone else into it with him.

Summary
An AU idea (inspired by this post) where Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill's dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill's ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing him for his refusal to rebuild the portal.
